Richard McPherson’s journey is a powerful reminder that even through the deepest pain, hope can rise, strength can be renewed, and lives can be transformed.

As a burn survivor, Richard’s journey has taken him all the way to California, where he received specialized care and support through the UCSF Health Burn Center.

BABY AYANA’S JOURNEY TO HEALING WE ARE WITH HER EVERY STEP OF THE WAY!

Ayana and her mother, Roselee, recently met with the orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Park, and his dedicated medical team, who will be performing Ayana’s major, lifechanging surgery at Shriners Children’s Hospital in Philadelphia.

At Crisis Support Charity, our commitment goes far beyond getting a child to the hospital. We don’t simply take them there and walk away.

We stand with them, support them, advocate for them, and remain by their side throughout the entire journey.

From the initial intervention and international travel arrangements to medical consultations, surgery, recovery, and ongoing support, we believe that every child and family deserves to know they are not alone.

Ayana’s journey is a powerful reminder that compassion must be more than words; it must be demonstrated through action, commitment, and love.

We are praying for Dr. Park and his entire medical team as they prepare to give Ayana this precious opportunity for a brighter future.

As Co-Founder & Director of the Burn Foundation of Jamaica and Crisis Support Charity, Luke Josephs has made service more than a responsibility, he has made it a purpose.

Behind every donation, every outreach, every family supported, every person given hope, and every crisis answered is a heart that simply refuses to look away.

There are moments when the work is difficult, when the needs seem greater than the resources, and when the weight of helping others can be heavy. Yet, the mission continues.

Protecting our children starts with being prepared.

Crisis Support Charity and the Burn Foundation of Jamaica is pleased to engage the parents of Port Henderson Primary School in an important conversation on fire prevention and safety.

Together, we’ll focus on practical ways parents can:
🔥 Prevent fires at home and school
🚨 Know what to do in an emergency
🧯 Understand basic fire-safety equipment
🏃 Develop safe evacuation and escape plans
👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Keep our children and families safe

Fire safety is everyone’s responsibility. A little preparation today can make a big difference tomorrow.
