We are really sad to have to postpone this event tomorrow as so much work has gone into it. I know James Hadley-Piggin and Zena Whitley have dedicated months to planning this event.

Unfortunately the weather forecast makes it unsafe to go ahead with high winds expected.

Really disappointed

Thank you so much to everyone who has helped with this and once we know the new date we will
Let everyone know.

Speake Announcement 📣

Sarah Templeton

AUTHOR ‘THE PRISON COUNSELLOR’
ADHD & OFFENDING KEYNOTE SPEAKER
SCHOOL-TO-PRISON PIPELINE EXPERT SPEAKER
YOUTH OFFENDING EXPERT ADVISER & SPEAKER
ADHD & HOMELESSNESS KEYNOTE SPEAKER
ADHD IN THE CRIMINAL JUSTICE SYSTEM & EDUCATION TRAINER
POLICE, PROBATION & PRISON SCREENING PROJECT MANAGER
PRISON ADHD AWARENESS CAMPAIGN MANAGER

Sarah was diagnosed with combined ADHD two months before her 52nd birthday. She thought that explained her life until at 56, she was diagnosed with severe dyspraxia, dyscalculia and sensory processing disorder.
Sarah is a qualified counsellor and coach and did much of her counselling in Young Offender units and adult male prisons.
She now dedicates her life to helping ADHD people who have found themselves in difficult situations. She has a particular passion for the homeless having volunteered for homeless charities for nearly 30 years including Crisis and The Big Issue.
She also worked for a short time in addiction and understands the desperation of people struggling with different addictions, especially those who don’t realise that the underlying problem is undiagnosed ADHD.
She was always particularly fond of getting her hands on Young Offenders and changing their life trajectory! To spread the word further, she now writes books on parenting and teaching ADHD children primarily to keep them on the right path and stop them falling into the school-to-prison pipeline, which is rammed with ADHD.
In 2025 she released her book ‘The Prison Counsellor’ about her time working in the prisons to expose the amount of ADHD she found there.
She is frequently to be found on radio, television and podcasts, raising ADHD awareness and thoroughly rubbishing the ‘naughty’ label ADHD continues to have.
The last time she remembers having time for any hobbies was about 20 years ago. All her time is now taken up helping people and nothing gives her more pleasure.
