Our focus is on stroke prevention, with high blood pressure being the leading (but not the only cause) of stroke in adults.

We are super excited to let you know we have been selected as 1 of the 3 charities for the green token collection scheme at Waitrose Rue des Prés, St Saviour.

We were nominated by a lovely lady and her husband who we have been supporting following his stroke.

The great news is that all 3 charities will receive funds from Waitrose, from £1,500 to £500 - so if you have some green tokens we would truly appreciate your vote in our collection box in store.

Amazing support from Alex Picot Trust again, you guys are amazing & well done on completing a fabulous challenge and thank you so much for such a generous donation 💙

Last month saw the return of our annual step challenge in support of sparking some healthy competition between the 7 teams determined to outstep each other.

This year, we also recognised the efforts of our cyclists and swimmers by converting their kilometres into step equivalents, ensuring every effort counted.

In three weeks, we clocked up just over 11,540 km – the equivalent of travelling in a straight line from St Helier, Jersey to San Antonio, Chile.

Our combined efforts equated to a donation of £5,000 to Jersey Stroke Support, helping the charity continue to support stroke survivors and their families across the island 💜

💙 Alex Picot Trust you are all truly amazing and we are very humbled by your continuous support 💙

Next week marks the start of our annual team challenge in support of Jersey Stroke Support.

Last May, we achieved an incredible 18 million steps to help raise awareness and funds. This year, we are going even further, with the efforts of our cyclists and swimmers being recognised - so every kilometre and every step counts!

Stay tuned as teams compete to travel the furthest “around the world” from the office. We look forward to sharing how far we go and how much we raise for Jersey Stroke Support.

That’s how to start the day !!

We are thrilled to announce that the lovely Kate Hackett is running the Manchester Marathon with her friend, Chris Longsden, in April 2027 and fundraising for Jersey Stroke Support.

Kate is inspired by her dad Jon Hackett, aka ‘the pig farmer’, who had a stroke in 2022.

Here’s a message from Kate:

Hi, I’m Kate 👋

In April 2027, I’m running the Manchester Marathon to raise funds for Jersey Stroke Support—a charity very close to my heart following my dad Jon’s journey.

After raising £12,000 running a half marathon, I’m pushing myself even further to make a bigger impact. Balancing farm life, family, and training won’t be easy, but it will be worth it.

Every donation helps support people in Jersey affected by stroke. Thank you so much for your support 💛

We are so incredibly proud to share that the team completed the 3 Peaks Challenge in 24 hours 🏅🥳

What an awesome team brought together by a real-life superhero 🦸🏻‍♂️ and multiple stroke survivor, Emerson D’Abbot-Doyle.
