🌱 KONFERENCE SEMÍNKOVNA 2026: Semínka, komunita a budoucnost osiva
Co všechno může začít jedním semínkem? A jakou roli mohou mít komunitní semenné banky v ochraně rozmanitosti a budoucnosti našeho osiva?
📅 5. října 2026 se potkáme v pražském Toulcově dvoře na konferenci, která propojí české zkušenosti se zahraniční inspirací.
Čeká nás odpoledne plné semínek, sdílení a setkávání:
🌿 od 13:30 prezentace dobré praxe, výstavka semínek a SEMÍNKOVÝ SWAP
🌿 zkušenosti komunitních semenných bank z Lucemburska a dalších evropských zemí
🌿 novinky v evropské legislativě týkající se osiva a sadby
🌿 příklady dobré praxe z českých Semínkoven
🌿 prostor pro networking, výměnu zkušeností i navazování nové spolupráce
Hlavní konferenční program začíná v 16:00, registrace od 15:30.
🇨🇿 🇬🇧 Program bude probíhat částečně v češtině a částečně v angličtině. Anglické části budou tlumočeny do češtiny prostřednictvím zapůjčených sluchátek.
🎟 Vstup je zdarma
Ať už spravujete Semínkovnu, sami semenaříte, zahradničíte, pracujete s komunitou nebo vás jednoduše zajímá, odkud budou pocházet semena pro naše zahrady a pole v budoucnu, budeme rádi, když přijdete.

We joined SEED Luxembourg and Iniciativa Semínkovna in Luxembourg to promote the 𝗦𝗲𝗲𝗱𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗚𝗿𝗼𝘄𝘁𝗵 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁, funded by the EU Erasmus+ grant!

We listened to inspiring talks by Adams (SEED), Karine (CELL), and Klára Hrdá (Semínkovna) on:
🏡 community seed banks
👥the establishment of Luxembourg's 'Citizen Seed Network'
🌱role of seed libraries in Czech Republic in as tools for cultivating biodiversity, public education, social cohesion and local food resilience.

🧠💭We also put our heads together during an afternoon of workshops to covering everything from 𝗘𝗨 𝘀𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝗹𝗮𝘄, and the 𝗨𝗡 𝗗𝗲𝗰𝗹𝗮𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗣𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗥𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀, 𝗦𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝗾𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 and, 𝗦𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝗱𝗼𝗰𝘂𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗰𝗸 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁, and how to engage the public and political spheres.

🌾 Today marks the opening of the 𝗘𝘂𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝗙𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗮𝗹 and the 5th edition of 𝗟𝗲𝘁'𝘀 𝗖𝘂𝗹𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗗𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆!

After seven years, we are back in Kalo, organizing this festival for 350 participants together with

💫 With more than 50 speakers, inspiring discussions, hands-on workshops, field visits featuring over 200 grain varieties, and plenty of tastings, the festival offers a unique opportunity to 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝗲𝗲𝗱𝘀 from Scandinavia to the Caucasus.

Today, we kicked off the event with 𝙬𝙤𝙧𝙠𝙨𝙝𝙤𝙥𝙨, a 𝙢𝙖𝙧𝙠𝙚𝙩𝙥𝙡𝙖𝙘𝙚, and guided visits to the 𝙙𝙚𝙢𝙤𝙣𝙨𝙩𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙛𝙞𝙚𝙡𝙙, which brings together varieties from 15 countries and showcases the richness of agricultural biodiversity.

To conclude the day, participants enjoyed inspiring artistic and cultural activities, exploring how creativity can help drive positive change and strengthen our connection to seeds, food, and the land.

💫 ECLLD is in Brussels for the first 𝐄𝐔 𝐅𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐉𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐅𝐨𝐫𝐮𝐦: 𝐆𝐥𝐨𝐛𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐞𝐬, 𝐑𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐬 & 𝐏𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐬

We are glad to have joined this civil society-led space that brought together together EU institutions, civil society organisations, farmers’ organisations, academia, unions and international partners to discuss how to make the right to food a reality in Europe and beyond. 🌱

For , this was also an important opportunity to connect food justice with seed diversity and its role in building more resilient and fair food systems.

🌱 💁‍♀️ Today ECLLD is in Brussels for the LiveSeeding conference “𝐆𝐫𝐨𝐰 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐃𝐢𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐞 𝐈𝐭”, focused on financing organic seeds and plant breeding in Europe.

As a partner in the LiveSeeding project, we are glad to join this important conversation with seed entrepreneurs, researchers, policymakers and ethical finance actors on 𝙝𝙤𝙬 𝙩𝙤 𝙨𝙩𝙧𝙚𝙣𝙜𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙣 𝙞𝙣𝙙𝙚𝙥𝙚𝙣𝙙𝙚𝙣𝙩, 𝙙𝙞𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙚 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙨𝙚𝙚𝙙 𝙨𝙮𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙢𝙨. 💪

🔬 Living Labs: where farmers and researchers build agroecology together.

𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐩 𝟕 at the Forum explores agroecology-oriented Living Labs as collaborative spaces to co-design and test solutions in real-life contexts.

🍎Drawing on European initiatives, the session focuses on cross-fertilisation, peer learning and knowledge exchange to strengthen agroecology-oriented food systems and international collaboration.

This workshop is organised by LiveSeeding, with the Agroecology Partnership, ÖMKi - Ökológiai Mezőgazdasági Kutatóintézet and Rete Semi Rurali ETS.
