Questo motto è la linfa vitale dell'associazione stessa, è la nostra mission, qualcosa in cui noi fermamente crediamo e che rappresenta la visione più bella,nostra umile opinione, delle arti marziali orientali. L'IDPA offre l'opportunità alle persone che non possono, per diversi motivi, recarsi in oriente ad approfondire la propria passione per le arti orientali, di avere le stesse possibilità di
chi invece può farlo. Il modello IDPA consente questa possibilità attraverso diversi strumenti: In primis, attraverso una rete di insegnanti altamente qualificati ed in continuo aggiornamento, nelle diverse discipline orientali (dal Kung Fu al Silat, dal Kali ad altre arti marziali autoctone dei paesi del Sud-Est asiatico) ed in secondo luogo, attraverso degli stages a tema, direttamente presieduti dai Gran Maestri. Quest'ultimo punto è di fondamentale importanza, perchè fa si che le persone tocchino con mano le capacità tecniche dei Gran Maestri stessi, senza alcun intermediario.. Il titolo GM nella nostra associazione è assegnato soltanto a costoro che rappresentano i diretti discendenti delle loro rispettive scuole. Lo staff tecnico IDPA studia e impara da loro, così come tutti gli appassionati, che ci omaggiano della loro presenza nei seminari e nei nostri corsi in tutte le sedi IPDA. A tal proposito, ci teniamo a precisare, che non sussiste alcun contratto di "esclusività" con nessuno dei nostri Gran Maestri. L'IDPA, infatti, proprio per il rispetto e la pluralità delle discipline che vengono studiate, si mantiene come entità autonoma ed indipendente, che mette a disposizione dei Gran Maestri tutti gli strumenti per poter diffondere le loro antiche arti in Occidente, lasciando agli stessi la possibilità di poter diffondere la loro preziosissima conoscenza ovunque e con chiunque loro decidano di farlo. IDPA has a main motto: "A bridge to the East". This motto is the lifeblood of our association, and it is our mission, something in which we firmly believe and which is a beautiful vision, in our humble opinion, about oriental martial arts. The IDPA offers an opportunity for people who can not, for various reasons, to travel to the East to deepen their passion for these beautiful arts, offering the same opportunity to those who can. The IDPA model allows this possibility through different instruments:
First, through a network of teachers highly qualified and continuously updated in the different arts (from Kung Fu to Silat, Kali from other martial arts native countries of Southeast Asia), and second, through specific stages and workshops, directly chaired by the Grand Masters. This last point is crucial, because it means that people will be able to have direct interaction with our Grand Masters, without any intermediary. The title of GM in our association is assigned only to those who are direct descendants of their respective schools. The technical staff IDPA International Dragon and Phoenix Association studies and learn directly from them, as well as all fans, who paying respect to us thanks to their presence in seminars and in our courses in all IDPA premises. In this regard, we would like to clarify that there is no contract of "exclusivity" with any of our Grand Masters. The IDPA, in fact, because of the respect and the plurality of disciplines that are studied, remains as an independent entity that provides the Grand Masters all the tools to be able to spread their ancient arts in the West, leaving them the chance to spread their invaluable knowledge with all who come with an open heart and mind.
