Portogallo, Amarante: la prossima destinazione del tuo Erasmus+? 🇵🇹

📅 Dall’11 al 19 ottobre 2026, giovani da diversi Paesi europei si incontreranno ad Amarante, nel nord del Portogallo, per uno Youth Exchange dedicato alla sostenibilità, all’agricoltura biologica e al turismo sostenibile.

Un’occasione per conoscere un nuovo territorio, incontrare persone e realtà locali e vivere un’esperienza internazionale attraverso attività nella natura, momenti di condivisione e apprendimento. 🌱

❗️Se hai tra i 18 e i 25 anni, conosci l’inglese almeno a livello comunicativo e hai voglia di fare una nuova esperienza, ti stiamo aspettando!

Non devi essere unə espertə: nella selezione conteranno soprattutto motivazione, curiosità e interesse per i temi del progetto. Aver già studiato o sviluppato competenze in questi ambiti sarà un plus.

✈️ La partecipazione è completamente gratuita: viaggio, vitto e alloggio sono coperti dal progetto Erasmus+. Durante il progetto, tutti i pasti saranno vegetariani.

Erasmus+ in Italy: Ariana’s Experience in Caramanico Terme 🏔️✨

“We laughed, sang, played games, shared meals, and created unforgettable memories together.”

For Ariana, 18, from Romania, her Erasmus+ experience in Caramanico Terme was much more than learning something new. 🌿

She met amazing people from different countries, got actively involved in the activities, learned about cultural exchange and teamwork, and discovered new things along the way.

Most importantly, the experience helped her grow as a person — becoming more patient, improving her observation skills, and gaining a deeper understanding of working and connecting with people from different backgrounds.

Her final rating? 10/10. ⭐

And she’s already looking forward to joining more Erasmus+ projects, in Italy and beyond. 🌍

If you ask us, it’s kinda chic to live an Erasmus+ experience. 🇪🇺✨

Waking up somewhere new.
Learning things you’d never learn in a classroom.
Meeting people who were strangers a few days ago.
Saying yes to things you’d normally say no to.
Getting your hands dirty, getting creative, getting out of your comfort zone.

🌿 10 giorni per scoprire un territorio, viverlo e imparare a proteggerlo.

Dal 20 al 29 settembre 2026, la Riserva Naturale del Borsacchio ospita l’Erasmus+ Youth Exchange
“Protected Areas: A Playground for the Inclusion of Young People”.

👥 37 giovani da 6 Paesi europei si incontreranno per scoprire il territorio e imparare insieme come valorizzare e proteggere le aree protette.

🌊 Dalle dune alle colline, esplorerai la Riserva insieme alle Guide del Borsacchio, scoprendo luoghi, storie e tradizioni del territorio. 🍇

Durante il progetto potrai scegliere tra 3 workshop:

🌱 Environmental Education
📱 Communication & Social Media
🛠️ Infrastructure Maintenance

📌 12 AUGUST — INTERNATIONAL YOUTH DAY

🌍 Young people may grow up in very different places, communities and circumstances. But across borders, many of the things we hope for are surprisingly similar.

✨ This year’s International Youth Day theme, “Different Contexts, Common Aspirations,” reminds us exactly of that.

At ARCI Circolo Territoriale Chieti, we see it through our youth projects and Erasmus+ activities. ✈️

🫂 When young people from different countries meet, they bring different experiences, cultures and perspectives with them. But as they spend time together, exchange ideas and work side by side, those differences often become the starting point for something else: discovering what we share.

That’s what youth work can create — opportunities to meet people we might never have met otherwise, to see things from a different perspective and to realise that our voice matters. 🌱

And this matters because young people are not just preparing for the future.

💫 They are already shaping the present.

Today, we celebrate young people in all their diversity, and the aspirations that connect us; wherever we come from. 💙

Erasmus+ TRAINING COURSE | Artistic Expression to Facilitate Youth Inclusion Processes

📍 Tornareccio, Italy
🗓️ 7–16 July 2026

Day 8 | Community Evening

After days of creating, it was finally time to share our journey with the local community. Together with the Municipality of Tornareccio and Coro Contrappunto, we transformed the historic centre into an open-air celebration of art and culture.

🖼️ The evening featured an exhibition of the works created during the artistic workshops: innovative mosaics made from recycled materials, documentaries on local realities, a video-poem about food, comics, posters, temporary tattoos, labels for the homemade tomato sauce, and many other creative projects.

One of the highlights was a giant hen made entirely from food-related waste. Visitors were invited to bring a piece of recyclable waste and, in return, received a Polaroid taken inside the installation; an artistic reflection on consumption and recycling. ♻️

🍅 Participants also prepared two traditional Abruzzese recipes, sagne a pezzi and celli pieni, using the homemade tomato sauce and artisanal jams produced during the project.

🎶 Folk dances led by Anna Anconitano, performances by a local youth music group and the beautiful voices of Coro Contrappunto filled the streets with music, bringing together participants and the local community.

The talent, creativity and dedication shown throughout the project came to life in this special evening, reminding us that artistic expression has the power to connect people and strengthen communities. 💛

📣‼️ Giovedì 30 luglio ci troverete all’Università degli Studi dell’Aquila per un workshop che ci sta particolarmente a cuore: ricerca e cooperazione per la conservazione dei grandi carnivori.

Ricercatori ed esperti si confronteranno sulle buone pratiche per la tutela di orso bruno, lupo e degli altri grandi carnivori europei, con un focus speciale sulla coesistenza con le comunità locali e le attività umane.

Tra gli interventi, alle 12:40 una tavola rotonda vedrà protagonista Dr. Aleksandra-Anja Dragomirovic, del Center for Environment CZZS di Banja Luka, attualmente con noi per un percorso di job shadowing di 18 giorni all’interno del progetto “Protected Areas: A Playground for the Inclusion of Young People”. Il suo percorso si svolge presso la Riserva Naturale Regionale “Gole del Sagittario”, dove approfondirà il modello di gestione dell’area protetta: dalle strategie di tutela della biodiversità al monitoraggio della fauna selvatica, dalla governance territoriale alla collaborazione con enti, comunità locali e operatori del territorio, con un’attenzione speciale alle iniziative di partecipazione e inclusione dei giovani.
L’attività rappresenta un’importante occasione di scambio di competenze, esperienze e buone pratiche tra i partner, contribuendo al rafforzamento della cooperazione europea sui temi della conservazione della natura e della gestione sostenibile delle aree protette.

L’evento è promosso dal Dipartimento MESVA dell’Università dell’Aquila, dall’Istituto Abruzzese per le Aree Protette (IAAP) e da ARCI Chieti, ed è aperto a studenti, ricercatori, operatori e cittadinanza.

Un altro capitolo di questo percorso si chiude grazie a chi ci ha accompagnato lungo la strada. 💬

Un sentito ringraziamento a Nicola e a tutta l’amministrazione comunale, per il supporto in ogni fase del percorso e per la volontà di portare avanti questi progetti nel tempo. E un grazie a Tornareccio, che ci accoglie da anni con un calore tale da farci sentire, ogni volta, a casa. 🏡

Siamo profondamente grati a:

🍯 Giovanna e famiglia Tieri, una realtà che porta con sé generazioni di storia e passione per le api, e che ci ha aperto le porte con la stessa dolcezza del loro miele.

🌾 Rino e Gessica, per averci fatto vivere una giornata vera, tra campi, grani antichi e una tavola imbandita che sapeva di casa.

♻️ Riexperia, per averci ricordato con leggerezza e concretezza, che il futuro sostenibile si costruisce anche con piccoli gesti quotidiani.

🇵🇸 Assopace Palestina Bologna, in particolare Egidio, e Terra Non Guerra, per averci portato una riflessione necessaria sul genocidio in corso, e su cosa possiamo fare, anche nel nostro piccolo, per stare vicini al popolo palestinese e a chi si reca sul territorio cercando di proteggerlo.

🍻Dimilù, per averci mostrato cosa significa trasformare una piccola bottega di famiglia in un progetto fatto di identità e autenticità.

Un grazie speciale a tutti i facilitatori, che con dedizione e professionalità hanno guidato ogni momento di questo scambio.

💚 Victoria, per il laboratorio di mosaico innovativo, e per essere stata un punto fermo nell’organizzazione qui a Tornareccio.

🎶 Il Coro Contrappunto e Anna Anconitano, per aver riempito le strade di musica e danze nella serata che ha chiuso in bellezza questo percorso.

E poi Romano e Loredana, per i celli pieni, e Marta e Giovanna, per le sagne a pezzi: perché le tradizioni si tramandano anche così, con le mani in pasta e tanta pazienza. A Giovanna va un grazie ancora più grande: per essere ormai un riferimento sul territorio, una risorsa preziosa. 🫶🏻

Un enorme grazie anche a tutti i partecipanti italiani, e a tutta la cittadinanza, per la partecipazione, il supporto e il calore con cui ci avete accolti.

Erasmus+ TRAINING COURSE | Artistic Expression to Facilitate Youth Inclusion Processes

Day 7

After a well-deserved break on Day 6 to recharge by the sea at Le Morge, Day 7 brought us right back into the creative flow with a delicious evening reward!

🎨 Throughout the day, participants dove back into their artistic workshops, pouring fresh energy and ideas into their ongoing projects.

🍻 In the evening, we headed out to discover a local treasure: Microbirrificio Dimilù, an artisanal craft brewery located in the heart of Tornareccio’s historic center.

🔎 Housed in what was once a small family butcher shop, founder Luciano Di Michele turned the space into a flavor laboratory. Today, Dimilù produces six distinct craft beers made exclusively with 100% Italian ingredients, free from any colorants or additives. A passion project rooted in local heritage and authenticity.
