As part of the Association of Inner Wheel Clubs in India's Jeevan Dhara initiative, the Inner Wheel Club of Surat - 306 celebrated Doctors' Day by honoring the dedication and selfless service of medical professionals.

Under the theme "One Club, One Dialysis Project," the club sponsored the dialysis treatment of 11 kidney patients at "Chhayado" Civil Hospital, Surat. This meaningful initiative reflects the club's commitment to compassion, healthcare support, and community service while bringing hope and relief to patients in need.

The Installation Ceremony for the Inner Wheel of Surat Dist. 306 Year 2026–27 was held on 28 June 2026 in a graceful and dignified atmosphere. The meeting commenced with the call to order by the outgoing President Smita Jariwala, followed by the Inner Wheel Prayer and a warm welcome to members and distinguished guests. Highlights of the ceremony included the presentation of the Club Report, release of the Club Bulletin, introduction of the Chief Guest Sandhya Gehlot and Guest of Honour Sneha Bhagat, and the formal installation of the Incoming President Nisha Purohit through the exchange of collars and pin by the District Chairman. The newly elected Office Bearers and Executive Committee Members were also installed. The programme featured inspiring addresses by the Guest of Honour and Chief Guest, the newly installed President's acceptance speech, announcements of upcoming projects by Dr. Ekta Gandhi, presentation of mementoes, and a heartfelt vote of thanks. The ceremony concluded with the meeting being adjourned by the newly installed President, marking the beginning of a promising Inner Wheel year filled with service, friendship, and leadership.

The Inner Wheel Club of Surat hosted the Official Club Visit (OCV) of District Chairman Mrs. Jayshree Amipara on 8th December 2025 at Samruddhi Conference Hall, 4th Floor, Makai Pool, Nanpura, Surat.

The meeting commenced at 11:00 AM. Club President Mrs. Smita Jariwala and Secretary Mrs. Nisha Purohit warmly welcomed the District Chairman and extended greetings on behalf of all members. Vice President Dr. Ekta Gandhi conducted the proceedings as MOC, while ISO Dr. Bina Shah proudly announced the opening of a new club.

As part of the club’s ongoing commitment to community health, cervical cancer vaccination was provided to four young girls, marking a meaningful step toward preventive healthcare.

The event continued with the formal General Meeting, featuring insightful interactions, updates, and valuable guidance shared by the District Chairman.

The visit further strengthened the club’s spirit of service and fellowship while ensuring alignment with district goals.

▪️PROJECT DESCRIPTION: InnerWheel Club of Surat proudly donated a brand‑new electric rickshaw to Sahaayam Home Goods Store, empowering physically handicapped artisans to deliver their eco‑friendly products. The rickshaw will transport handcrafted flowers, sustainable hampers, biodegradable paper bags and other green goods directly to customers, reducing carbon footprints while supporting livelihoods. This initiative aligns with the club’s commitment to inclusive development and environmental stewardship, fostering economic independence for persons with disabilities. The donation ceremony highlighted collaboration between the club, local businesses and community volunteers, marking a milestone in sustainable, disability‑focused entrepreneurship.

The Inner Wheel Club (IWC) organized a heartwarming visit to ASRA Old Age Home A special highlight was to be with them in our interaction and created a cosy and homely atmosphere.Our club gifted Kurtas with love and respect to all elder Males in Asra and Utensils for use in their common kitchen Members engaged in conversations fostering emotional connections and reducing loneliness. The Ashram caretaker and residents were felicitated with tokens of appreciation. This initiative strengthened the IWC-AASRA bond, fulfilled the club’s community service mission, and reminded us that *small gestures transform lives. The club plans to continue support through future visits . A meaningful reminder that compassion builds bridges and members celebrated Diwali with love and fulfilled the mission of community service.
