"Vivekananda Path Mandir" is an educational, social and spiritual organisation, working for the people in the spirit of ‘Service to MAN is Service to GOD’. Amongst its works a few are:
--- running two free permanent study centres at two remote villages.
--- disaster service for pandemics, storm, flood, accident, house-burn etc through distribution of food, clothes, shelter repair, drinking water and medical facilities.
--- sponsorship to poor students for education,
--- treatment of poor people, medical camps, eye camps, surgeries and admission.
--- distribution of new clothes to underprivileged people before festivals
--- distribution of blankets and warm clothes in winter
--- helping the farmers through Krishak Puja during monsoon, scarecrow implantation in croplands.
--- town cleanliness, sanitization of public places, society awareness, water filter distribution.
--- baby food distribution, newborn felicitation on Janmastami
--- solar light distribution
--- plantation and ecological awareness campaigns
--- Cultural programmes, Art, Quiz, Debate, Speech, Exhibition, Essay competitions.
--- monthly sitting among youth members for self-improvement, Upasana etc.
--- running a Library on Ramakrishna-Vivekananda philosophy and literature. The "Vivekananda Path Mandir" is run by donations from the philanthropic people across the district. This institution started in 2003 by a group of well-wishers who wanted a moral growth in the youth. The spirit and enthusiasm with which the members are working in this institution is a by-product of our onward journey towards our Goal which is being practised through Renunciation (Selflessness, Love, Dedication, Sincerity) and Service.
