Women Action Group

Women Action Group WAG has been working among tribal, dalits, Poor women, youth, children, disabled persons, HIV/AIDS affected persons, poor farmers. Kamalam in the year 1993.

Women Action Group (WAG) was founded by Mrs. It has been an Organization started by women for women Emancipation. WAG target areas, Gangavalli,Thalivasal, Attur, PNPalayam and Valappady blocks in Salem district, Tamilnadu, India

WAG works with Women, Children, dalits, marginal farmers, tribal, especially the landless farm workers, workers in the unorganised sectors, children, dalits, tribal, and

marginal farmers in the villages of Gangavalli,Thalivasal, Attur, PNPalayam and Valappady blocks. Its vision is ‘to devote itself to the holistic development of the exploited, oppressed, and the less fortunate rural , tribal and urban women especially the dalits, tribal and slum women dwellers, to help them to help themselves.
