In 𝐊𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐤, 𝐒𝐨𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐠 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐭, 𝐒𝐢𝐤𝐤𝐢𝐦, Suraksha Self-Help Group is turning innovative farming into an opportunity for sustainable livelihoods.

With support from SBI FoundationSBI Foundation under its CSR initiative and implementation support from AROH Foundation, the group adopted polyhouse cultivation, creating a protected environment for high-value crops.

Their journey with 𝐃𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐲 𝐐𝐮𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐢 brought encouraging results, with a successful seasonal harvest.

More than a successful harvest, the initiative has brought new skills, greater confidence and stronger livelihood opportunities for the women of the group.

When learning becomes interactive, curiosity becomes a habit.

Through the Smart School Development Initiative, AROH Foundation has helped transform 15 government schools across 𝐃𝐨𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐲𝐚𝐠𝐚𝐧𝐣 𝐁𝐥𝐨𝐜𝐤, 𝐒𝐢𝐝𝐝𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐡𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐚𝐫, 𝐔𝐭𝐭𝐚𝐫 𝐏𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐬𝐡 into more engaging and inclusive spaces for learning.

The initiative brings together:
🔹 Smart classrooms for digital and visual learning
🔹 Science laboratories to encourage learning by doing
🔹 Libraries that nurture reading and self-learning
🔹 BaLA-based learning elements that make school spaces more child-friendly
🔹 Improved water, sanitation and essential school facilities

At Gulawathi Khurd Village, Dadri Block, Uttar Pradesh, AROH Foundation, in collaboration with HCLFoundation, brought together community members for a meaningful plantation drive around the restored pond.

A child's first classroom lays the foundation for a lifetime of learning, health, and opportunity.

Recognizing this, AROH Foundation, with the support of HDFC Bank Parivartan initiative, has established Smart Anganwadi Centres across 15 villages in Domariyaganj Block, Siddharthnagar, under the Holistic Rural Development Programme.

Designed as vibrant, child-centric learning spaces, these centres are transforming the early years of childhood by integrating quality pre-primary education, nutrition, health services, and holistic development under one roof.

Beyond infrastructure, the initiative is strengthening the entire ecosystem of early childhood care, empowering Anganwadi Workers with improved resources, enhancing access to growth monitoring and maternal healthcare, promoting healthy nutrition practices, and encouraging greater community participation.

The result is more than improved services. It is greater school readiness, healthier children, informed mothers, confident frontline workers, and villages that are better equipped to secure the future of their youngest generation.

Because sustainable development begins where every child is given the opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive.

Together, we are not just upgrading Anganwadi Centres, we are investing in healthier families, stronger communities, and a more inclusive future.

Through the HDFC Bank Parivartan CSR initiative, implemented by AROH Foundation, farming communities are embracing natural farming practices that protect the environment while strengthening rural livelihoods.

By promoting Jeevamrit under 𝐙𝐞𝐫𝐨 𝐁𝐮𝐝𝐠𝐞𝐭 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐅𝐚𝐫𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠 (𝐙𝐁𝐍𝐅), farmers are restoring soil health, reducing dependence on chemical fertilizers and pesticides, and adopting sustainable cultivation methods that improve long-term farm productivity.

The initiative is creating measurable environmental benefits by:

🌾 Revitalising soil fertility through natural microbial activity.
💧 Conserving groundwater by improving soil moisture retention and reducing irrigation demand.
🌍 Minimising chemical contamination of land and water resources.
🌱 Building climate-resilient farming systems that support sustainable food production.
👨‍🌾 Empowering small and marginal farmers with practical knowledge and eco-friendly agricultural practices.

More than an agricultural intervention, this CSR initiative is fostering a transition towards resilient ecosystems, responsible resource management, and sustainable rural development. Every farmer adopting natural farming contributes to healthier soils, cleaner water, stronger livelihoods, and a greener future for generations to come.
