Knowledge is the strongest shield in today's digital world. Through the Nai Disha - School Improvement Programme, students are being equipped with practical knowledge to make informed financial decisions and navigate the online world safely and responsibly.

Across 8 Government Schools in Pune, Maharashtra, students actively participated in interactive Financial Literacy and Cyber Security sessions. From understanding digital payments and smart money management to identifying online scams and protecting personal information, students gained essential life skills that will help them become confident, responsible, and digitally aware citizens.

Together, we are creating classrooms that prepare students not only for academic success but also for the challenges of the modern world.

With the support of HDFC Bank Parivartan, AROH Foundation successfully organized a Plantation Drive at Swami Atmanand Government School, Buddi (Sukma, Chhattisgarh) in collaboration with the Gram Panchayat and the Forest Department.

The initiative brought together students, teachers, community members, local representatives, and government officials with a shared commitment to protecting the environment. Saplings of various species were planted, accompanied by a collective pledge to nurture and safeguard them for generations to come.

This plantation drive was more than just planting trees, it was about inspiring environmental responsibility, strengthening community participation, and taking meaningful steps toward a greener, healthier, and more sustainable future.

Learning becomes meaningful when every child receives the support they need. Through remedial classes under the 𝑺𝑩𝑰 𝑮𝒓𝒂𝒎 𝑺𝒆𝒗𝒂 𝑷𝒓𝒐𝒈𝒓𝒂𝒎, children from Classes 1 to 5 are strengthening their academic foundations, completing their homework with confidence, and exploring new ideas beyond the classroom.

Along with focused learning, engaging physical activities encourage teamwork, confidence, and holistic development, creating an environment where children enjoy coming to learn every day.

By nurturing curiosity, improving attendance, and building essential life skills, these learning spaces are helping young minds move one step closer to a brighter and more confident future.

Leaving behind the uncertainty of migrant work, Shyam Sundar chose to invest in a future closer to home. Today, his popcorn microenterprise is not just generating income, it is bringing stability, dignity, and new opportunities for his entire family.

Under the 𝑯𝒐𝒍𝒊𝒔𝒕𝒊𝒄 𝑹𝒖𝒓𝒂𝒍 𝑫𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒍𝒐𝒑𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕 𝑷𝒓𝒐𝒈𝒓𝒂𝒎𝒎𝒆, supported by HDFC Bank Parivartan and implemented by AROH Foundation, Shyam transformed an idea into a thriving livelihood. With access to a popcorn-making machine, entrepreneurial guidance, and continuous support, he has built a sustainable business right in his village.

Today, instead of spending months away from his loved ones, Shyam works from his community, supports his family's needs, and ensures his children receive the care and education they deserve. His journey is a powerful reminder that when the right opportunities reach rural communities, dreams don't have to migrate, they can flourish at home.

Because true transformation begins when livelihoods grow where families belong.

The successful completion of the CFL Orientation Training Program (Phase II & III - Additional) marked another significant milestone in strengthening the implementation of the Centre for Financial Literacy (CFL) Programme across India.
Held from 24–26 June 2026 in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, the three-day orientation brought together dedicated participants, along with officials from the Head Office and State Teams, creating a dynamic environment for learning, collaboration, and capacity building.
We were deeply honoured by the gracious presence of 𝐌𝐫𝐬. 𝐒𝐡𝐫𝐮𝐭𝐢 𝐆𝐨𝐲𝐚𝐥, 𝐀𝐆𝐌, RBI Regional Office, Lucknow, and 𝐌𝐫. 𝐆𝐚𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐡 𝐒𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐤𝐚𝐫 𝐘𝐚𝐝𝐚𝐯, 𝐋𝐃𝐌, Bank of Baroda, Ayodhya, whose inspiring guidance and valuable insights reinforced the importance of advancing financial literacy and promoting inclusive development.
The program featured engaging sessions led by experienced State Heads, equipping participants with practical knowledge, implementation strategies, and best practices to strengthen CFL initiatives at the grassroots level. The active participation of the Uttar Pradesh CFL team, Cluster Heads, and District Coordinators further enriched the learning experience and strengthened collaboration across regions.
As we conclude another successful training programme, we reaffirm our commitment to building financially aware communities, expanding financial inclusion, and empowering people with the knowledge to make informed financial decisions.
