Day 2 of breast feeding week at Fmch saw different activities across our various centers in MP and Maharashtra such as street plays, sessions in yhe hospital maternity ward etc. An effort was made to address misconceptions related to breastfeeding and encourage mothers and family members to adopt correct breastfeeding practices. The programme successfully engaged the community and promoted the importance of protecting, promoting, and supporting breastfeeding.

The FMCH-developed NuTree Lite App brings together essential information on nutrition, health, and caregiving in one place, it enables her to counsel women with greater confidence in a timely and accurate manner.

For the grand finale of our Nutrition Course (Session 5), we threw a fun twist into our ‘Mystery Box’ activity!
Instead of springing the ingredients on them on the spot, we gave our amazing mothers their ingredients—spinach (palak), carrots (gajar), beetroot, sprouts, pulses (kadadhanya), peanuts (shingdana), and coriander (kothimbir)—1 day in advance!
This gave them a whole day to brainstorm, plan, and collaborate. Swipe to see the result.
