🌸 Poshan Shakti Utsav at Buapada 🌸

Recently, our team conducted a Poshan Shakti Utsav at Buapada, bringing together Anganwadi workers, ASHA workers, and representatives from local corporate companies for a day of awareness and community engagement.

The event began with a lively Garba session, creating an energetic and welcoming atmosphere for all participants. Following this, information on Antenatal Care (ANC) and nutrition was shared using IEC materials to build awareness among families.

To make learning more interactive and easy to understand, a snakes and ladder game was designed to simplify key health and nutrition messages for families. This fun approach helped reinforce important concepts in an engaging way.
Additionally, local municipal representatives addressed the community and shared insights about FMCH’s work and its impact.

💛 An inspiring example of how awareness, participation, and creativity can come together to strengthen community health.

Dissemination Event

100+ Anganwadis. 3 years. Countless stories.
Over the past three years, FMCH worked closely with Anganwadi workers to strengthen maternal and child health practices at the community level.

To mark this milestone, a dissemination session was conducted across multiple places, bringing together:
147 Anganwadi Teachers,
121 Helpers

The session focused on growth monitoring, identification of SAM/MAM children, nutrition for pregnant and lactating mothers, and prevention of low birth weight. An interactive quiz added energy to the room, with Group Swasthya scoring 7 points and Group Poshan scoring 6.

What stood out most was the strong participation, engagement, and the relationships built over the years. The heartfelt feedback and warm farewell from the Anganwadi workers made this moment especially meaningful.

While this phase comes to an end, the impact continues through empowered workers and stronger community systems.
