As we celebrate the ✨️ Cheistha Kochhar Nudge Award ✨️ from Indian School of Public Policy , we wanted to take a moment to express our deepest gratitude to each and everyone who has been part of 'The Project Mumbai Recyclothon' ♻️

As PROJECT MUMBAI 's Environment Team has always been at the forefront of driving this initiative, there are so many people working tirelessly behind the scenes who deserve equal credit. 🙌

Awards may be presented to a team, but they are built by countless helping hands, conversations, ideas, late evenings, coordination, and belief. This recognition is a reflection of that collective effort.

Teachers spend every day guiding young minds—but how often do they get the opportunity to pause and care for their own?

PROJECT MUMBAI 's Mental Health Team, psychologists Gouri Rane and Gauri Ambedkar, conducted 3 Mental Health Journaling Sessions for 107 teachers and headmasters from BMC schools in Mumbai's R/S Ward, at the request of Administrative Officer Mr. Ashfaque Ahmad Shah.

Held around the theme "Celebrating the Inner Guide" to mark Guru Purnima and Indian Psychology Day, the sessions combined mindfulness, reflective journaling, and insights from Indian psychology to help educators reconnect with themselves amidst the demands of teaching.

Participants explored their thoughts, created personal affirmations, identified habits they wished to let go of, and received Project Mumbai's Manaswin Toolkit—a practical resource to support everyday mental well-being.

The response was overwhelmingly positive, with teachers sharing their commitment to prioritise self-care, spend more time with their families, and continue nurturing their own well-being alongside that of their students.

Because when we support the mental health of our teachers, we strengthen the future of every classroom. 💙
