🐾⚠️ ANIMAL CRUELTY MUST NEVER BE NORMALISED ⚠️🐾

On 11/05/2026 at Smart Bazaar, Global City, Virar West, an innocent stray dog resting quietly under a trolley to escape the extreme summer heat was allegedly beaten with a wooden stick by a lady security guard. 💔

Mr. Bhavik Patel and Mrs. Jyotsana Patel, who witnessed the incident while shopping, immediately objected to the cruelty. Instead of responding compassionately, the security guard allegedly justified the act, while an employee identified as Mr. Kannel (Assistant Store Manager) allegedly misbehaved with the concerned citizens for raising their voice against animal cruelty.

Following the intervention of Mr. Chetann Kishor Patel, Founder of Illuminating Hope Foundation (IHF), along with Mr. Prathamesh Joshi, and with police assistance called by Mr. Bhavik Patel, the matter was addressed seriously. Apologies were reportedly issued, and we appreciate the cooperation shown by Mr. Nasir (Store Manager), who assured that such incidents would not happen again.

Animals seek shade, food, water, and safety not violence. 🐶❤️

Late Shri. Ratan Tata Ji always stood as a symbol of compassion for stray animals, and even Taj Hotels became an example of peaceful coexistence and kindness toward street dogs.
