Highlights of the Activity
* The drive was organized with the aim of contributing to a greener tomorrow and creating awareness about the importance of trees in maintaining our ecological balance.
* Around 10 saplings of different varieties were planted by our enthusiastic members, each adding to the beauty and health of the environment.
* The participating doctors — Dr. Vipul Rawade, Dr. Vijay Kedar, Dr. Bhavesh Khatri, Dr. Amruta Wadekar, and Dr. Pratibha Shetty — came together with great camaraderie, making the activity both productive and joyful. Special thanks to them for their active involvement.
* The plantation not only contributes to cleaner air and reduced carbon footprint but also provides shade, supports biodiversity, and enhances the natural beauty of the surroundings.
The activity concluded with a light breakfast and tea, leaving everyone refreshed, satisfied, and proud to have contributed to a noble cause.

IDA MWSB Branch Celebrates National Oral Hygiene Day
Dental Awareness and Oral Checkup Camp at Borivali, Mumbai
In celebration of National Oral Hygiene Day, the IDA MWSB branch organized its first “Mega Dental Awareness cm Complete Oral Checkup Camp” for students and staff of the Borivali Education Society. This is the first of multiple camps planned for the society's approximately 25,000 students. The first phase focused on R.C. Patel School and M.K.V College.
Phase 1 Details
* Date: 31st July, 2025
* Time: The camp ran in two batches: Batch 1 from 8am - 12:30pm and Batch 2 from 1:30pm - 4:30pm.
* Venue: R.C. Patel High School, M. G. Road, Near Sukurwadi Bus Depot, Borivali East, Mumbai - 400 066.
* Beneficiaries: 2412 students and all teaching and non-teaching staff were screened.
Highlights of the Activity
* A team of 17 doctors worked in two shifts to provide a complete oral health checkup for over 2000 students in a single day.
* Students were brought in class-wise for screenings, with secondary and junior college students in the morning and primary and nursery kids in the afternoon.
* Dental awareness talks and presentations were a key part of the event. Dr. Yuga J. Desai led the morning session, while Dr. Vinaya Kamath and Dr. Viraj Sanghavi managed the afternoon session.
* Every student received a brochure and a toothpaste sample to encourage good oral hygiene practices.
* The smooth functioning of the camp was made possible by the wonderful arrangements provided by the school staff and principal.

❣️ Highlights Of The Activity❣️
1)The Camp was mainly planned for the Students with Special Needs of the School

2) The Camp was lead by all Women Team of the Branch including our President & Honorable Branch Secretary supported by Colleagues

3) Flouride Application was done for each & every Student and individually a complete Oral Health Checkup was performed

4) Every Student was explained the importance of good Oral Hygiene.

5) The Kids were full of knowledge & very polite and well mannered towards the Doctors. They came for the check up with proper discipline and were full of Zeal.

6) Lions Club of Gokuldham-Yashodham also felicitated all doctors with a Bouquet of Flowers as a token of appreciation & the School also presented them with a Hand-made Greeting cards made by the Students at the School.

💜 We Thank the entire staff at Yashodham School for allowing our doctor’s to spend a wonderful time amongst the ever beautiful & blessed children 💜
