A delegation from the All Dimasa Students Union, headed by Mairing Johori, President of the Central Committee, Accompanied by President and Secretary of the Union Maibang Zonal Committee and fellow members met with the Officer-in-Charge of Maibang Police Station to address the growing apprehension regarding the involvement of local youths in deleterious activities like drug abuse and g***a consumption. The Union underscored the imperative need for collective action to protect the youth and maintain communal safety. The Union requested to increased patrols, organised joint awareness programs, and strict measures against such unlawful activities.

The Union members accompanied Mairing Johori sir The President of ADSU "All Dimasa Students' Union" in the flag-off ceremony of the Kanchenjungha Express (13173/13174 Sealdah - Agartala) at Maibang Railway Station, following an invitation from the NF Railway. This participation underscores the Union's commitment to addressing the concerns of the local populace regarding railway services since its inception. While appreciating the railway authorities for initiating ticket reservation counters, Rajdhani Express, and the stoppage of the Kanchenjungha Express (AGTL-SDAH), we note that several demands, including a foot overbridge, require prompt attention.

During Mairing Johori tenure as President of All Dimasa Students' Union - Maibang Branch , an initiative was taken that has now reached a successful conclusion. Out of several crucial demands submitted to the NF Railway authority, the stoppage of Rajdhani Express and Kanchanjungha Express at Maibang Railway Station has been approved, as evidenced by the official notification. This accomplishment is a significant milestone for the residents of Maibang. The Union acknowledges the valuable contributions of and his team in bringing our demands to the forefront through news platforms, as well as the support extended by Maibang Railway Station Master Gauravji and the CMI NF Railway Lumding Division in advancing our requests.
