Today we met Dr. Rashmi Hojai, MBBS, Deputy Superintendent, Maibang CHC in the presence of Shri. Amit Nunisa, Vice President of Dimasa Students' Union - DSU Central Committee, Haflong to discuss the urgent need for a Gynaecologist, Paediatrician, MD, and other specialists at Maibang CHC, along with need for ECG, CT Scan, Ultrasound and medicine facilities.

We are grateful for her time and cooperation. 🏥🙏

We had the honour of felicitating Miss Anuska Bodo, who secured 1st position with 87.2%, Miss Tanisha Bajaj who secured 2nd position with 85.2% and Mr. Ringthamon Warisa, who secured 3rd position with 83.6% from St. Xavier’s School Gidingpur, Maibang in the Secondary School Examination, 2026 conducted under the Central Board of Secondary Education, from Maibang, Dima Hasao.

We had the honour of felicitating Miss Prinjita Langthasa from Ever Green High School, who secured 1st position with 84.16% , and Miss Ringsringdi Haflongbar from Ever Green High School & Miss Jesmi Khersa from Pranabananda Vidya Mandir, who secured 2nd position with 81.66% and Miss Maisringdi Naiding from Sainja Valley High School, who secured 3rd position with 81.33% in the High School Leaving Certificate Examination, 2026 conducted under the Assam State School Education Board, from Maibang, Dima Hasao.

The 176th Birth Anniversary of sengyah Sambudhan Phonglo (National Freedom Fighter) was commemorated with the unveiling of his statue at Maibang. The event was organized by the Dimasa Students' Union Maibang District Committee and Maibang Area Phonglo Hosom Welfare Committee honoring the legacy and sacrifices of the great freedom fighter.
