The 3rd A**l Catholic Women Conference.
The 3rd A**l Catholic Women Conference was held at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Lamphoupasna in Chandel district from January 16-19, 2026. The conference was held under the theme, "A woman who fears the Lord is to be praised", taken from the book of Proverbs: 31:30.
The conference was attended by over 500 women from eight Churches under the A**l Catholic community name Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Lamphoupasna; St. George Church, Lamphou Charu; St. Thomas Catholic Church, Beru Anthi; St. John Catholic Church, Y/Khutha-A**l Khunou; Mary Immaculate Catholic Church, A**l Khullen, Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Beru Unopat, Christ the King Church, Thungcheng and A**l Community of Our Lady of Lourdes Church.
The conference was graced by Most Reverend Dr. Neli Linus, D.D. Archbishop of Imphal as main celebrant on Sunday wherein 130 faithfuls recieved the Confirmation into the Catholic Church.
During the conference, the new executive members of the A**l Catholic Women Society were also elected with Hl. Hringve from St. John's Church, Y/Khutha-A**l Khunou as the President. Hl. Thanihring and Bd. Nohrin from the same Church were chosen as the secretary and information secretary respectively while Ws. Pewer from HTCC, Lamphoupasna was chosen as the vice president. Bd. Nohrin and Ps. Lani from Sacred Heart Church, Beru Unopat were chosen as finance secretary and joint secretary respectively. They will hold the post for three years i.e. 2026-2028.
