Empowering Teachers, Transforming Girls’ Lives.

At IIMPACT, our teachers are the backbone of the GCEP programme, and continuous training and capacity building remain central to our approach to quality education.
Every quarter, we conduct an intensive 5-day Teacher Training programme to strengthen educators’ skills, confidence, and classroom practices. This quarter’s key focus was on Life Skills Education — equipping teachers with tools to nurture confidence, communication, decision-making, and emotional well-being among girls in our Learning Centres.
Through demonstrations, activities, and practical sessions led by our academic teams, teachers are supported with child-centred and engaging teaching practices. Quarterly Teacher Assessments (QTA) further help us identify learning needs and provide targeted academic support.
Today, through 1,748 Learning Centres across 11 states of India, we continue working towards ensuring every girl has access to joyful, meaningful, and quality education.

At IIMPACT, we have seen how an educated girl transforms not just her own future, but the future of her entire family. Behind every girl who learns, persists, and succeeds, there is often a mother who chose hope over hardship.
In 2025–26, close to 30,000 mothers were engaged through IIMPACT’s Mother Literacy Programme, creating stronger support systems for girls’ education at home and in the community. We also witnessed an encouraging 8% increase in student attendance, reflecting the powerful role mothers play in sustaining learning journeys.
From walking long distances to send their daughters to learning centres, to joining literacy sessions themselves, these mothers are powerful partners in change.
Today, we honour every mother who believes that education can break cycles and build brighter futures.

At the “FLN: What Works – When Policy Alone Isn’t Enough & What Pedagogy Adds” summit organised by Devi Sansthan, IIMPACT’s Executive Director Preeti Munjal participated as a panelist on the theme “The Role of CSR in Foundational Literacy & Numeracy.”
The two-day Leadership Circle 5 at City Montessori School brought together visionaries, educators, policymakers, IAS officers, Members of Parliament, and leaders from the social sector — including the Hon’ble Minister of Education, Uttar Pradesh — united by a shared commitment to transforming education through meaningful learning and impactful pedagogy. The summit became a vibrant space for collaboration, reflection, and collective action toward advancing Foundational Literacy & Numeracy (FLN) under .
During the panel discussion, Preeti Munjal highlighted an important yet often overlooked aspect of FLN — the literacy of mothers. She emphasised that when mothers become active participants in the learning journey, children’s attendance, retention, confidence, and learning outcomes improve significantly. Her insights reinforced the importance of community participation and family engagement as key drivers of sustainable educational change.

From 1–3 May, the IIMPACT team came together in Gurgaon for our Annual Review Meeting—three days of reflection, collaboration, learning, and strategic planning.
The meeting began with an inspiring opening address by Executive Director Preeti Munjal, setting the tone for meaningful discussions and collective learning. With colleagues joining from across locations, the sessions focused on programme performance, academic progress, partnerships, monitoring systems, donor engagement, compliance, and strengthening implementation strategies.
Ms. Ankita from Star Alliance conducted a session on medical and accidental insurance, while Mr. Vikas Saini from Bharat Innovation discussed the Teacher App and implementation challenges. An engaging session on KRAs and KPIs by HR expert Anupama Dasgupta brought greater clarity on performance and accountability.
A special highlight was the vibrant cultural evening featuring an SDG-themed fashion show celebrating teamwork and creativity.
The final day began with a health check-up session for team members, followed by discussions on mainstreaming, retention, model learning centres, HR alignment, and the way forward.
The meeting concluded with a motivating closing address by Executive Director Preeti Munjal, emphasising communication, teamwork, professionalism, and collective ownership in creating greater impact in the lives of girls through education.

From 1–3 May, the IIMPACT team came together in Gurgaon for our Annual Review Meeting—three days of reflection, learning, and planning for the year ahead. With colleagues joining from across locations, it was a powerful reminder of our shared commitment to strengthening girls’ education.

We were privileged to have our Board deeply engaged in the discussions. On Day 1, Board Members Mr. Bhaskar Bhat and Mr. Amal Jajodia joined us virtually, sharing their perspectives on our achievements and challenges. Their words of motivation and encouragement set a strong tone for the year ahead, inspiring the team to aim higher and deepen our impact.

A key highlight was an insightful session led by our Founder, Board Member, and Mentor, Mr. Anil Tandon,who emphasized a critical shift—from literacy to true learning. He spoke about the importance of building strong foundations so that our students don’t just read and write, but think, question, and apply their knowledge with confidence.Drawing parallels with national and global assessments like ASER, NAS, and international benchmarks, he challenged us to reflect on where we stand and where we need to go. Through sample questions, he demonstrated how real learning goes beyond rote—it requires reasoning, curiosity, and application.The takeaway was clear: to truly empower our students, we must continuously strengthen both teaching practices and learning experiences, ensuring education sparks thinking, not just memorization.

We are deeply grateful for the active involvement of our Board, whose guidance continues to shape IIMPACT’s vision and impact.
