On the occasion of World Environment Day, the Green Pencil Foundation, in collaboration with the Department of Geography, Shaheed Bhagat Singh College, University of Delhi, successfully organized a Yamuna Clean-up Drive at Kalindi Kunj Ghat.

With the collective spirit of around 35 dedicated volunteers, the initiative led to the removal of nearly 100 kilograms of solid waste from the riverbank—an important step towards restoring the ecological health of our rivers.

The drive was led by Mr. Ashvin from the Green Pencil Foundation’s Delhi team, whose leadership ensured smooth ex*****on and strong volunteer engagement throughout the activity.

Beyond just a clean-up, the initiative served as a reminder of our shared responsibility towards nature. Each participant contributed not only through action but also by becoming an advocate for a cleaner and more sustainable environment.

To acknowledge their efforts, all volunteers were provided with certificates and refreshments as a token of appreciation.

This World Environment Day, we didn’t just raise awareness—we took action.

Let’s continue working together towards a cleaner Yamuna and a healthier future for all.

We at Green Pencil Foundation, in CSR partnership with Brevo, successfully organized a Sustainable Practices Workshop focused on building a deeper connection with nature and promoting climate-conscious actions.
The session actively engaged employees through hands-on activities centered around Nature Connect, Nature Observation, and Carbon Footprint Mitigation. It was encouraging to see such enthusiasm towards adopting sustainable practices in everyday life.
Workshops like these are a step forward in creating environmentally responsible individuals and organizations, driving collective action towards a greener and more sustainable future.
