I often wonder about Mahakal.
Kedarnath… I have never been there.
Kaashi … I have never been there.
Kailash… I have never been there.
And yet, somehow, I found my Nandi ji around me.I find my Bhairav around me.
शायद मुझे मंदिर जाने की ज़रूरत ही नहीं थी।
जो मेरे आसपास हैं, शायद वही मेरे मंदिर हैं।
जिनकी आँखों में मदद की पुकार है, शायद वही मेरी प्रार्थना हैं।
I often ask myself - Am I the blessed one, or am I the cursed one?
Because this path is not easy.
It takes away your time, your comfort, your plans, sometimes even your peace.
But perhaps I am the special child of that God
the one He trusted,
the one He believed would stop,
the one He chose to do this work.
Maybe He didn't call me to His temple.
Maybe He brought His Nandi, His Bhairav to me.
And every time I stop for one of them,
perhaps that is my darshan.

जो मेरे आसपास हैं, वही मेरे शिव हैं।
और उनकी सेवा ही मेरी पूजा है।
