VIEWS-India, with the support of our valued partners and supporters, provided essential relief assistance to 150 flood-affected families of Persons with Disabilities ( ) in Bhadrak during this difficult time.

# # # 3rd Mohalla Sabha: Migration – Safe Opportunity or Path to Exploitation? 🌍

VIEWS at Podampeta successfully conducted its 3rd Mohalla Sabha** at New Podampeta (Siddhant Nagar) on the important topic: “Migration: Is It Safe? Is It an Opportunity for a Better Future or a Path to Exploitation?”

The session was led by the young leaders of the Yuva Samudram Lab, who facilitated meaningful discussions on the opportunities, risks, safety measures, and challenges associated with migration.

More than 70 community members participated in the programme, including Anganwadi workers, Ward Members, ASHA workers, youth, community members, and other local stakeholders.

The initiative aims to empower young people and community members with awareness, informed decision-making, and knowledge about safe migration while strengthening community dialogue on preventing exploitation and protecting the rights of migrants. 🤝🌱

Raising Awareness for a Healthier Community 🌱

VIEWS at Podampeta successfully conducted its 2nd Mahalla Sabha on the important topic of “Prevention of Alcohol and Tobacco”, led by the young leaders of the Yuva Samundram Lab.

The session aimed to raise awareness among community members about the harmful effects of alcohol and to***co and encourage healthier choices for individuals, families, and the wider community.

More than 100 participants actively joined the programme, including Anganwadi workers, government school teachers, community members, youth, and local stakeholders. Their active participation reflected a strong collective commitment towards building a healthier and substance-free community. 💙
