Construction Skill Development Council of India is the apex body which is responsible for development of National Occupation Standards in line with the National Skill Qualification Framework (NSQF) since 2014 Ninety Nine Qualification packs have been developed covering occupations like Masonry, Bar Bending, Shuttering Carpentry, Electrician, Painter & Decorator. Until a pool of certified trainers

and assessors is created for conducting the training and assessments the objective of NOS aligned training and assessments would not be complete. The third role is to conduct fair and quality Assessments and Certification of new entrants and experienced workers of the construction sector.

🚨 We’re Hiring | Consultant (Civil) – 20 Positions

Construction Skill Development Council of India (CSDCI) is inviting applications from motivated Civil Engineering freshers for the role of Consultant (Civil) based in Raipur, Chhattisgarh.

This is a 6-month contractual opportunity, with the possibility of full-time employment based on performance.

Position: Consultant (Civil)
Number of Openings: 20
Location: Raipur, Chhattisgarh
Salary: Industry Standards

Eligibility: B.E. / B.Tech / Diploma in Civil Engineering
Experience: Fresher or up to 1 year

The selected candidates will support the monitoring and quality assurance of skill training batches under government schemes. The role involves site visits, verification of training delivery, compliance checks, documentation, reporting, and coordination with Training Providers, trainers, and project teams.

Key responsibilities include:
• Monitoring ongoing training batches at centres and site locations
• Verifying technical alignment of training sessions with on-ground activities
• Ensuring training delivery as per approved curriculum and quality standards
• Conducting site visits and preparing monitoring reports
• Validating attendance, batch records, and assessment readiness
• Supporting audit, inspection, documentation, and portal updates

Preferred skills:
• Strong observation and analytical ability
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Attention to detail and compliance-oriented approach
• Basic knowledge of construction practices and site activities
• Familiarity with MS Excel, reporting, and documentation
• Willingness to travel extensively to training centres and sites

CSDCI successfully organized a NAPS Workshop in Kollam, Kerala on 31st March 2026, in collaboration with KASE, RDSDE Kerala & Lakshadweep, and NSDC.

The workshop focused on enhancing awareness on the Apprentices Act, NAPS portal registration, DBT mechanisms, and best practices for effective apprenticeship implementation.

The session commenced with a welcome address by Prof. Sunil Kumar, Director, IIIC Kollam. This was followed by an insightful briefing on the role of MSDE and RDSDE by Shri Yuvraj C, Regional Director, RDSDE Kerala & Lakshadweep. Shri Nikhil Jose, SEO, NSDC, conducted a detailed session on NAPS registration and portal guidance, while Ms. Akshaya Jalasteen, Manager – CSDCI, shared key insights on NAPS and industry engagement.
The workshop witnessed active participation from industries, MSMEs, HR professionals, and training partners, emphasizing the importance of collaboration between industry, academia, and government to strengthen the apprenticeship ecosystem.
