‘‘CELEBRATING NORTH EAST’, has been able to bring the diverse communities from different states of the NORTH EAST REGION in one Culturally Strong and Constructive platform in the National Capital Region in an annual manner, in gratitude to the support from the various Ministries along with various State Governments of the North East Region and has played a pivotal role in bringing NER closer to the people of the Delhi – NCR.

A B2B-cum-Open Forum on Textiles, Handicrafts, Khadi and Tourism Investment Opportunities was conducted on the Second Day of CELEBRATING INDIA , on 7th November 2025 organised by North East Institute of Fashion Technology with the support of Embassy of India, Seoul, Republic of Korea , Indian Chamber of Commerce in Korea and Korea Federation of Textile Industries (KOFOTI) at Textile Center, Gangnam, Seoul .
Shri Vikram Rai Medhi gave his opening remarks and introduced the Ambassador of India to the participants of the B2B-cum-Open Forum.
H.E. Ambassador of India, Shri Gourangalal Das addressed the participating Delegates and highlighted the history and contemporary status of Indian Textiles and its Global Potential with focus on the Roadmap of Mutual Growth with Republic of Korea.
International Head of KOFOTI Mr. Joo Sung-ho, Shri Kento Jini, Hon’ble Minister of Sports and Youth Affairs, etc., Govt. of Arunachal Pradesh, and representatives from KVIC, Ministry of MSME, Officials of NEHHDC, Ministry of DoNER, Tourism EM of Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council, Directors of Textiles and Sericulture, Government of Arunachal Pradesh, etc. Presented their papers at the B2B Meet.

The Deputy Chief of Mission, Shri Nishi Kant Singh gave the vote of Thanks to all the Stakeholders and Participants looking forward for a road of Collaborations between the Two Vibrant Countries.

The 21st Edition of CELEBRATING INDIA was held on 6th and 7th November 2025 by North East Institute of Fashion Technology with the support of Embassy of India, Seoul, Republic of Korea , Indian Chamber of Commerce in Korea and Korea Federation of Textile Industries (KOFOTI) at Textile Center, Gangnam, Seoul.
The event was inaugurated by H.E. Ambassador of India, Shri Gourangalal Das in the presence of Executive Vice Chairman of KOFOTI Ms. Soyoung Joo, Shri Nyato Dukam, .dukam Hon’ble Minister of Industries and Commerce, etc., Govt. of Arunachal Pradesh, Shri Kento Jini, Hon’ble Minister of Sports and Youth Affairs, etc., Govt. of Arunachal Pradesh, Executive Vice Chairman of KOFOTI Ms. Soyoung Joo, Former Secretary of Foreign Affairs Sri Jaideep Mazumdar
, Former Secretary of Textiles Sri U.P. Singh , Shri Ritesh Enghi, EM-KAAC , Shri Madhurjya Dhekial Phukan, EM-KAAC and Host of Diplomatic Incorp of Seoul, Fashion Fraternity, International Media, etc.

Its my privilege to announce that the 19th Edition of India Festival will take place at Istanbul, Turkiye on 6th September, 2024 in association with Consulate General of India, Istanbul at the historic ArtIstanbul Feshane.
Eight Topline Blazing Designers from the North East will show their Craft in the intricate Weaves and Handicrafts of the Region to be displayed by 36 Supermodels of North East India and Europe.
Traditional Folk Dances and Talented Musicians will recreate a Mini North East in the historic City of Istanbul.
