Daan Utsav (India’s Joy of Giving Week) is a nationwide festival held annually from October 2 to October 8, aligning with Mahatma Gandhi’s birth anniversary. It brings together citizens, corporates, and non-profits across India to celebrate the spirit of giving, whether through donating money, time, skills, or resources.

With generous support from The Muthoot Group (Muthoot Finance Limited), the EBMA Foundation distributed 1,100 kits to 500 families in Sivasagar district at Nazira Division. The distribution took place in various flood-affected villages in Sivasagar from August 8-11, 2026.

The foundation has distributed 500 women's clothing packets with sanitary pads and 600 clothing packets for children aged 0-6 years.

We are really thankful to our generous donor for standing beside the people of Assam in great need.

We are grateful to see our Assam Flood Relief initiative featured in the newspaper, bringing attention to the urgent needs of families affected by the devastating floods in Sivasagar, Assam.

With the generous support of Muthoot Finance Limited (The Muthoot Group), EBMA Foundation was able to take relief assistance to flood-affected communities of Sivasagar, helping families during a deeply difficult time.

Behind every relief packet was a story, a family trying to rebuild, a mother caring for her children, and a community standing together with hope.
This is what meaningful partnership looks like. Our heartfelt gratitude to Muthoot Finance Limited for standing with vulnerable families and supporting relief efforts on the ground.

We also thank our field volunteers, partners, community members and everyone who helped make the distribution possible.

We are proud to share that EBMA Foundation, in partnership with Muthoot Finance Limited (The Muthoot Group ), has extended support to 500 families across the Nazira Division of Sivasgar, Assam.

By joining hands, we have combined grassroots outreach with impactful corporate social responsibility to deliver meaningful relief and care where it is needed most across 10 villages, benefiting 1100 women and children.

A heartfelt thank you to Muthoot Finance Limited and their team for their dedicated support and belief in the needs of the people of Sivasagar.
