At One All, we see that power every day—on the Ultimate Frisbee field, in our Life Skills sessions, and within communities where young people are stepping up as leaders, teammates, and changemakers.

This International Youth Day, we're celebrating their courage to learn, their confidence to lead, and their commitment to creating kinder, stronger, and more equitable communities.

Meet T. Meena

Since joining One All as a facilitator in 2017, Meena has never stopped learning. Her curiosity, positive energy, and passion for understanding people and their communities continue to inspire us every day.

Today, she's helping children learn life skills through play—because she knows that games make learning fun, meaningful, and unforgettable.

Having experienced her own transformation, Meena now works to create the same change for every child and young person in her community.

Field Coordinator Spotlight | Meet Roobini

Growing up in a family of four girls, Roobini saw how girls were often overlooked and lacked support. Those experiences inspired her to help create better opportunities for girls in her own community.

Joining One All also gave her something she had never experienced before—the chance to play a sport through Ultimate Frisbee.

What keeps her here is the culture of equality, teamwork, and belonging.

Champion Spotlight: Vivek Krishnaswamy

Some champions inspire not only through what they give, but through the communities they bring together.

Meet Vivek Krishnaswamy (VK)—a valued member of the Ultimate Frisbee community and a dedicated One All Champion.

From supporting One All through monthly giving via Benevity and fundraising campaigns to participating in our initiatives, sharing our mission with his network, and always stepping up to help, Vivek has shown what it truly means to be a champion for young people.

One quote that inspires him is:

15 women. 1.5 years. Countless moments of growth.
Congratulations to our 15 Community Impact for Women Fellowship graduates!
Over the past 1.5 years, they learned, reflected, and grew together while:
- Taking action in their communities
- Facilitating Life Skills Education through Sports
- Leading adolescent workshops
- Becoming confident leaders and role models
This journey was about more than learning new skills—it was about building resilience, practicing gender equity, and believing that every young woman has the power to create positive change.
We hope this experience becomes a lifelong foundation, empowering each fellow to continue making an impact and inspiring the next generation of changemakers.

Fellowship Exposure Visit to Gudalur

As part of their learning journey, 15 One All Fellows visited Viswa Bharati Vidyodaya Trust (VBVT) School and ASHWINI in Gudalur.
VBVT is a community-led educational initiative that works with Adivasi communities to provide culturally rooted, inclusive education while promoting community ownership and leadership. ASHWINI (Association for Health Welfare in the Nilgiris) is a community-owned healthcare organization that provides accessible healthcare services and promotes the health and well-being of Adivasi communities across the Gudalur Valley.

Through this exposure visit, fellows learned about community-led development, the importance of building institutions owned by the people they serve, and how education and healthcare can become powerful tools for social change. They also gained insights into leadership, sustainability, and the long-term commitment required to create meaningful impact in communities.

A heartfelt thank you to the teachers and team at VBVT, Lakshmi Ma'am and the team at ASHWINI, and Prabakaran for hosting us and making this exposure visit such a memorable and enriching learning experience for our fellows.

"Stronger Together Through Partnership"

When organizations come together with a shared purpose, greater impact becomes possible.
Since last year, One All has been partnering with Karma Corps to support children from underprivileged communities through sports-based life skills education. Through this collaboration, children have opportunities to learn, grow, and build essential life skills in a fun and engaging environment.

Recently, 18 children from Karma Corps and 25 girls from One All communities came together for a sports-based life skills session focused on confidence, positive attitudes, teamwork, encouragement, and resilience. Through games, reflection, and meaningful conversations, participants learned from one another while building new friendships and skills.
We are grateful for partnerships like these that help create more opportunities for children and young people to thrive. Together, we can build stronger communities and empower the next generation.

Bringing 7 Villages Together Through Sports

What an incredible day at the Velleri Grounds, Pattavayal on 24th May!
70 children from 7 villages came together for a day filled with sports, teamwork, laughter, and community spirit
With the support of 17 amazing volunteers and 7 visitors cheering the children on, the tournament became more than just games — it became a space for connection, confidence, leadership, and joy 🌱
Moments like these remind us how powerful sports can be in bringing communities together and creating opportunities for young people to grow both on and off the field
