**Chachi Chele Maa** is a story by Smt. Sundri Uttamchandani, one of the outstanding writers of Sindhi literature.
The story presents two women who marry into the same family, as wives of two brothers. They are very different in nature and approach to life. One is street-smart, outspoken and aggressive, while the other is accommodative, affectionate and understanding. Both try to pass on their own values and beliefs to their children. As the story unfolds, the ever-affectionate woman wins the reader’s sympathy and emerges with all her warmth and glory.

Smt. Sundri Uttamchandani was a leading Sindhi writer and a proud recipient of the **Sahitya Akademi Award**. She wrote numerous novels, short stories, dramas and poems, many of which continue to remain relevant and meaningful for readers today.
