We, Hazrat Makhdoom Shah Baba Mahimi Charity Trust, a duly registered and independent Public Charitable Trust under the laws of the State of Maharashtra, bearing Registration No. E-3484 (M) and Trademark Registration No. 383182, most respectfully submit this letter of appreciation for your kind perusal.
Our Trust organizes the annual Urs of Hazrat Makhdoom Shah Baba Mahimi (R.A.) along with the associated Mela. On this occasion, the exemplary, sensitive and professional role played by the Mumbai Police in maintaining law and order, ensuring public safety, managing traffic and facilitating public convenience deserves the highest appreciation.
In particular, during the conduct of the Urs and the associated Mela—which witnesses the presence of a large number of devotees, members of the general public, traders and families—the effective crowd management, traffic regulation and security arrangements implemented by the Mumbai Police were commendable.
