A proud day for the Rotary Club of Wexford. 💜💛

On Saturday, we welcomed Verona Murphy, Ceann Comhairle and the first woman—and first person from Wexford—to hold this office, as an Honorary Member of our club.

Verona’s journey from the factory floor to the Chair of Dáil Éireann is an inspiring story of leadership, determination, and service.

We were delighted to celebrate this special occasion alongside Rotarians from across Ireland, District Governor Michael Fleming, District Governor Elect George Roche , family, friends, and guests.

We also recognised and thanked Assistant District Governor Calodagh McCumiskey for her dedicated service to Zone 4 and District 1160 over the past three years.

A memorable day of friendship, recognition, and Service Above Self.
