Helena will hold the family day this Sunday at 2 proceeds will go to palative care tralee they will be medals for all trophy for bonny baby glamorous granny and granddad everyone support will be appreciated

Unfortunately Helena is calling off tomorrows sports day due to the bad forecast a new date will be confirmed next week.

A week has passed since Pattern 2025 in Knocknagoshel and as we reflect on a very successful festival, it is timely to say a special word of thanks to our wonderful sponsors without whom the Knocknagoshel Harvest Festival would not run.

Thanks to each business from within the parish of Knocknagoshel, from our neighbouring towns and further afield.

A special mention must go to our sponsors from across the waters who maintain the link with their native sod. It is so much appreciated by all in our club and community.

Finally for the children whose energy should now be recovered from all the sports during the festival there is another afternoon of races and novelty events planned for Saturday the 30th August from 3p.m. in Walsh’s field in Knocknagoshel Village. This is organised by the wonderful Helena O'Mahony and all donations go to Palliative Care.

The 150th anniversary of the Pattern Sports took place on Friday August 15th 2025 at Willie Walsh park.An evening of beautiful Autumn sunshine and lots of competitive action was enjoyed by all.

Knocknagoshel Horsefair is today August 16th and horses are arriving since early morning. Plenty of music and entertainment in both bars in the village today and this evening.
