Based in Tallow, Co. Waterford, the Enterprise Centre promotes Community development through a range of computer, business and leisure courses.

Tallow Enterprise Centre is engaged in the provision of education and training for all identified needs in the community of Tallow and the surrounding areas.

Learn how to recognise and respond to emergencies, including:
✅ Choking, CPR and the recovery position
✅ Anaphylaxis and severe allergic reactions

📢 URGENT VACANCY — APPLY NOW!

Tallow Enterprise Group CLG is recruiting a Part-Time Maintenance Person (19.5 hours) for maternity cover of 5–6 months.

Duties include general cleaning, painting, meeting room and event setup, and opening and closing the centre. Flexibility in working hours is essential.

Tallow Enterprise Centre is delighted to share two upcoming TUS courses, with 80% funding available:

🤖 Certificate in AI and Emerging Technologies
Discover AI tools and how they can be used in everyday life and business.
📅 Wednesdays, 7–9pm

🔐 Certificate in Fundamentals of Cybersecurity
Learn about online threats and ways to protect your data and systems.
📅 Thursdays, 7–9pm

Both courses are:
✅ Delivered online over 12 weeks
✅ Starting in December 2026
✅ Level 6 certificates, worth 10 ECTS credits each
✅ Open to people without a technical or engineering background

Whether you’re a student looking to build your skills, a business owner interested in new technology, or someone keen to return to learning, these courses could be a great opportunity!

🎓 Exciting News for Tallow!
We are delighted to announce the official launch of the TUS Learning Gate at Tallow Enterprise Centre, in partnership with Technological University of the Shannon (TUS).

A TUS Learning Gate is essentially a local connection to the university. It is designed to make education and training more accessible by bringing information, support and learning opportunities closer to people in the community.
Through the Learning Gate, people in Tallow and the surrounding area will be able to find out more about higher education, part-time and flexible learning, upskilling, training and lifelong-learning opportunities available through TUS. It can also help support people who may be thinking about returning to education, while creating stronger links between TUS, local businesses, community organisations and the wider area.
