Announcing House of the Hag - a free one-off day-to-night celebration bringing together a spooky concoction of live music and DJs with craft b**r on the eve of Samhain. Spread across the brewhouse, warehouse and taproom of The White Hag on Sat 29 October, the event will run from 5-10pm.

We are delighted to be working in collaboration with the folks at The White Hag Irish Brewing Co., we will be cranking the amps up to 11 with two exciting live propositions. Making their first trip to Sligo are Cork-based, art-punk trio Pretty Happy and local, alternative-punk band Some Remain Band, before DJ Fergal Darcy rocks the dancefloor with a deathly Silent Disco.

For the weekend that's in it, attendees are encouraged to wear fancy dress with €250 worth of prizes for the best dressed outfit, and a range of smaller prizes for those with the most imaginative costumes!

For the b**r enthusiasts, The White Hag brewers will give a talk and tour of the brewing process, explaining the methodology behind making great b**r. We'll also have a bunch of brand new b**rs pouring, including Halloween and other seasonal specials on tap.

The event is supported by funding from Sligo County Council and Department of Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht Sport and Media, Local Live Performance Programming Scheme 2022.

This is a free but ticketed event, book now via eventbrite https://www.eventbrite.ie/e/house-of-the-hag-halloween-party-tickets-440245455007
