Electric Picnic 2026 is definitely one to remember!
Our Trad Quartet of Laura, Edel, Taidhg, Fionnan kicked things off on Friday with a performance in An Puball Gaeilge. Their set was recorded and featured on TG4 last night on the programme Beo ón Electric Picnic 2026. Sunday saw our harpers take over Croí thanks to Harp Ireland. First up was a performance on the Harp Ireland Stage and then we were delighted to join our friends from Music Generation Louth and Music Generation Mayo to perform as the 36 member strong Music Generation Ireland Harp Collective on the Croí Main Stage!
Shoutout to MG Laois Alumni Anna Kelly who rocked the Rockshore Stage on Friday with her band Brooki, and members of our Trad Orchestra who performed on The Hazlewood stage on Sunday with their group Beomhar (thank you to Youth Work Ireland Laois)
Thank you to Cian Finn and Aibhlin, Triona, Affraic and everyone at Harp Ireland for making this possible, and to everyone who braved the rain to see our young musicians perform.
A special thank you to the incredible Martin Hibbitts who managed to get 36 harps safely on and off a very mucky Electric Picnic site.
