Wexford County Council is proposing a new Safe Routes to School Pedestrian Scheme at Kennedy College, including new footpaths and associated pedestrian infrastructure in the Bosheen area.

Walk, Breathe & Connect – Guided Walk

Enjoy a gentle 1km guided walk with breathing exercises, nature and relaxation. Suitable for all ages and abilities.
Take some time to slow down, breathe deeply and reconnect with nature.
Join us for a gentle guided walk along the beautiful New Ross Riverside Walkway. This relaxed session combines an easy walk with simple breathing exercises and opportunities to pause, unwind and enjoy the wellbeing benefits of spending time outdoors.
The route is approximately 1 km on a smooth, fully accessible pathway, making it suitable for people of all ages and abilities, including wheelchair users, mobility aids and families with buggies.
No special fitness level is required—everyone is welcome to enjoy this friendly and inclusive outdoor experience.

★★★ All Island Pollinator Plan 2026-2030 ★★★
The new All-Ireland Pollinator Plan (2026-2030) will launch on Thursday 9th July. Led by the National Biodiversity Data Centre, this successor plan builds on the strong foundations of the first two phases (2015-2020 and 2021-2025). The new Pollinator Plan is the most ambitious yet, with even bigger plans to transform the landscape for pollinating insects. From Thursday coming the new plan will be available to download from pollinators.ie .
