🎨✍️ A huge well done to everyone who took part in the Community Games Art, Handwriting, Project and Model Making competitions held in Castleblayney College this week!

The standard of work on display was truly excellent, showcasing the creativity, talent and effort of all participants. You should all be very proud of what you achieved 👏

A sincere thank you to Castleblayney College for kindly providing the use of their fantastic facilities—it was greatly appreciated and helped make the events a great success.

The County Community Games U15 Girls Soccer Final took place in Belgium Park on Wednesday evening, with Clontibret emerging as emphatic winners against a determined Carrickmacross-Corduff side.

Great skill, teamwork and sportsmanship were on display from both teams, with the enjoyment and team spirit shown by all the players a credit to their clubs, coaches and families.

Congratulations to Clontibret on their victory as they now progress to represent Monaghan at Ulster level.

Monaghan County Community Games extends sincere thanks to referee Seamus Fields for officiating the final, and to Monaghan County Council for the use of Belgium Park. ⚽👏

📣 Notice for Area Committees

County singlets will be distributed this Thursday evening at Castleblayney College from 7:00pm to 7:30pm for all children competing in the Cross Country, 5K, and Mixed Distance Relay events.

👉 Please ensure all participants collect their singlets, as county singlets must be worn in all competitions – area singlets are not permitted.

📧 Further details are available in the email issued this evening by the County Secretary – please review and share accordingly.

Wishing every child the very best of luck in this week’s Art, Handwriting, Model Making and Project competitions taking place in *Castleblayney College*. We know there will be great creativity, effort and imagination put into all entries – enjoy the experience and be proud of your work!

Competition Details:
🕠 Registration: From 5:30pm each day, 20th and 21st May
🕕 Competition Time: 6:00pm – 9:00pm (age group/category time limits apply)
📅 Wednesday Only: Model Making & Project
📅 Wednesday or Thursday (attend either evening): Art & Handwriting
