The County Community Games U15 Girls Soccer Final took place in Belgium Park on Wednesday evening, with Clontibret emerging as emphatic winners against a determined Carrickmacross-Corduff side.

Great skill, teamwork and sportsmanship were on display from both teams, with the enjoyment and team spirit shown by all the players a credit to their clubs, coaches and families.

Congratulations to Clontibret on their victory as they now progress to represent Monaghan at Ulster level.

Monaghan County Community Games extends sincere thanks to referee Seamus Fields for officiating the final, and to Monaghan County Council for the use of Belgium Park. βš½πŸ‘

County singlets will be distributed this Thursday evening at Castleblayney College from 7:00pm to 7:30pm for all children competing in the Cross Country, 5K, and Mixed Distance Relay events.

πŸ‘‰ Please ensure all participants collect their singlets, as county singlets must be worn in all competitions – area singlets are not permitted.

πŸ“§ Further details are available in the email issued this evening by the County Secretary – please review and share accordingly.
