🏅💛 GOLD FOR MONAGHAN! 💛🏅

A huge congratulations to Senan Durnin, who has been crowned the 2026 Community Games Boys U14 200m All-Ireland Champion!

Senan was in outstanding form throughout the day, winning both his heat and semi-final to secure his place in the final. With anticipation building ahead of the race, he delivered when it mattered most, producing a superb display of speed, focus and determination.

In a thrilling final, Senan powered down the home straight and held off a strong challenge from his closest rival to cross the line in first place and claim the gold medal.

This is a fantastic achievement and a proud moment for Senan, his family, his community and all of Monaghan Community Games.

Lorraine will be distributing Monaghan County singlets for athletes competing in this weekend's Community Games National Track & Field Finals on Wednesday, 19th August.

📍 Location: Car Park, Annyalla National School
🕡 Time: 6.45pm – 7.45pm

⚠️ Parents and athletes are reminded that all children competing in the National Finals Track & Field events must wear their Monaghan County singlet.

Best of luck to all our athletes as they prepare to represent Monaghan on the national stage!
