A huge congratulations to all the athletes who took part in the Monaghan Community Games Athletics Finals yesterday at The Peace Link, Clones. The weather was glorious, and the standard of competition on display was just as impressive!

Well done to every participant who gave their all on the track and in the field events. Your dedication, sportsmanship and enthusiasm made for a wonderful day of athletics.

🎉 Special congratulations to all of our medal winners on their fantastic achievements. Your hard work and commitment have truly paid off.

👏 A sincere thank you to The Peace Link, Clones for hosting the event and providing an excellent venue for our athletes to compete.

🌟 Congratulations to All Our Monaghan Community Games Participants! 🌟

A huge well done to all the athletes from Monaghan who proudly represented their areas and the County at the Community Games National Finals at the end of May. 👏🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️

From exciting indoor sports competitions to fantastic performances on the track, every participant showed tremendous dedication, sportsmanship and community spirit throughout the event. You all represented Monaghan with pride!

A very special congratulations to our medal winners on their outstanding achievements! Your hard work, determination and commitment truly paid off, and the entire county is incredibly proud of you.

Thank you also to the coaches, parents, volunteers and supporters who encouraged and supported our teams every step of the way.

🎨✍️ A huge well done to everyone who took part in the Community Games Art, Handwriting, Project and Model Making competitions held in Castleblayney College this week!

The standard of work on display was truly excellent, showcasing the creativity, talent and effort of all participants. You should all be very proud of what you achieved 👏

The County Community Games U15 Girls Soccer Final took place in Belgium Park on Wednesday evening, with Clontibret emerging as emphatic winners against a determined Carrickmacross-Corduff side.

Great skill, teamwork and sportsmanship were on display from both teams, with the enjoyment and team spirit shown by all the players a credit to their clubs, coaches and families.

Congratulations to Clontibret on their victory as they now progress to represent Monaghan at Ulster level.

Monaghan County Community Games extends sincere thanks to referee Seamus Fields for officiating the final, and to Monaghan County Council for the use of Belgium Park. ⚽👏

📣 Notice for Area Committees

County singlets will be distributed this Thursday evening at Castleblayney College from 7:00pm to 7:30pm for all children competing in the Cross Country, 5K, and Mixed Distance Relay events.

👉 Please ensure all participants collect their singlets, as county singlets must be worn in all competitions – area singlets are not permitted.

📧 Further details are available in the email issued this evening by the County Secretary – please review and share accordingly.
