Nominations are now open for the Full Circle Awards, an innovative initiative celebrating everyday people across Ireland who repair, reuse and refurbish rather than discard.

The awards recognise ordinary individuals making an extraordinary impact through circular living, with the public invited to nominate local champions across six categories. Winners receive a €2,000 prize, a handcrafted trophy made from upcycled materials, and promotion through Circular.ie, social media and press coverage.

The categories cover a broad range of activity: Repair and Reuse Champion, for those who extend the life of clothing, tools, furniture or electronics; Community Circular Champion, for organisers of swap events, sharing libraries or repair cafés; Creative Circular Design, for artists and innovators tackling waste through design; Circular Living Advocate, for educators and content creators promoting zero-waste lifestyles; Circular Sports Champion, for athletes and clubs embracing sustainable equipment; and Best Community Campaign, recognising Ireland’s strongest community-led circular initiatives.

The awards target grassroots action rather than corporate sustainability work. Eligible nominees include community activists, individuals developing circular solutions, micro-business owners and sole traders with ten employees or fewer, and those at social enterprises with up to 250 staff. Full-time sustainability consultants and large businesses with dedicated sustainability teams are excluded. Nominees must be 18 or over and aware of their nomination, though self-nomination is allowed.

Full guidelines and the nomination form are available at circular.ie/full-circle-awards-2026, with submissions closing 24 July.

Minister for Children, Disability and Equality, Norma Foley – TD, has launched “Let’s Talk Childminding”, a public consultation on Ireland’s new childminding regulations.

The consultation will help review regulations introduced in September 2024, which allow childminders to register with Tusla and join the National Childcare Scheme, giving families access to financial supports.

A transition period is in place until September 2027, after which registration will become mandatory.

The call for submissions is open from 19 June to 20 July 2026.

Artlink Members Show 2026 - Open Call
'And Again'
Deadline: Wednesday 15th July 2026.

AND AGAIN considers the coastal edge as a threshold space, a place of encounter, transition, ritual, and regeneration.
We invite artists to reflect on ‘and again’ in its many forms: migration, belonging, memory, repetition, protection, and collective care. ' This Open call seeks responses to place as a
living archive that holds traces of loss, survival, labour, movement, and community.
Waves, tides, and vibrations become carriers of memory; gestures repeated across generations become rituals of place; the horizon holds both uncertainty and possibility. We are interested in practices that explore cyclical movement, connection to land, and the emotional and political dimensions of sovereignty, sustainability, and shared futures.

126 Artist-run Gallery Studios, Galway; Artlink, Fort Dunree, Inishowen invite submissions from Artlink Member artists for a group exhibition entitled ‘AND AGAIN’,
curated by Róisín Doherty of the 126 Artist-Run Gallery Board of directors, taking place at

Sladanha Gallery
Fort Dunree
