-- Rags To Riches Thrift Shop Closing Down --
After many successful years serving the community, the Rags to Riches Charity Shop in Milford will be closing to make way for a dedicated kitchen facility for our new local Meals on Wheels service.
While it is the end of one chapter, it marks the beginning of an important new one. The demand for Meals on Wheels continues to grow, and this new facility will help ensure that vital meals and support can be provided to those who need them most in our community.
Since reopening in December 2020 following a complete refurbishment, Rags to Riches has raised over €40,000 through the Milford Development Fund, supporting local sports clubs, community organisations and community projects across the wider Milford area.
A huge thank you to everyone who donated, shopped and supported the charity shop over the years. Most importantly, thank you to our incredible volunteers, whose commitment and hard work made all of this possible.
We are proud of what Rags to Riches achieved and look forward to seeing the positive impact the new Meals on Wheels kitchen will have for many years to come!
There will be a closing down sale from today until 24th June - everything must go! Any left over good stock will be donated to other local charity shops.
