Limerick LGBTQ Pride is a volunteer led, not for profit collective, working to promote positive visibility of LGBTQ people and their community in Limerick. Mark the date in your diaries as Limerick LGBTQ Pride 2023 will run from July 3rd - 9th with the annual Pride Parade taking pla

ce on Saturday July 8th. Gathering for parade will be returning to Merchant's Quay (city hall), parade leaving 2PM! Registration forms must be completed in advance by all organisations, groups, and companies who wish to take part in the parade for 2023. Registration form will be made available online in due course.

* No registration fee will apply for organisations and groups to take part.
* Only Pride partners (companies/ businesses) are permitted to take part in the parade. More information can be provided by emailing [email protected]

Saturday night, some members from our Limerick Pride & Europride teams attended the fundraising ball at the .

It was a lovely evening, full of lovely and friendly company. It means the world to share a room with a team that shows up for Limerick night after night.

Thank you for the very unexpected but beautiful words said to us during the speeches 🥰🫶✨️

To the whole LTSPP team who have always been great allies to us throughout the year and during Limerick Pride, we thank you for everything you do for our city we all as a city are grateful to have volunteer organisations like this doing so much for Limerick and to help others in need ✨️💚.

🌈 Happy Pride Month🌈

Pride isn’t just a parade. It’s the 72-year-old who comes to their first Tea Dance. It’s the teen at Youth Pride finding their people. It’s the workshops, the quiet chats, the loud dances, the allies showing up.

June is a protest.
June is a party.
June is remembering those who marched so we could.
June is making sure no one marches alone.
Pride is for all of us.

We stand with Louise 💜🇵🇸🕊

Limerick Pride, former committee member, chairperson, friend, and tireless advocate for human rights, Louise, is one of the Irish participants currently detained by Israel after joining the humanitarian Flotilla.

We heard from Louise before she was detained, and they need all of us to help! Keep the pressure up, spread the word, and keep it in the media spotlight.
We are devastated to hear reports of brutal treatment faced by Irish citizens peacefully acting in solidarity with Gaza. Lou went to deliver aid and bear witness. She should be safe, not behind bars.

This week, our government voted down the Bill to sanction Israel. While Lou and others are detained abroad for standing against injustice, politicians at home chose not to act.

Limerick Pride has always stood for freedom, dignity, and the right to live without fear. That doesn’t stop at our borders.

We call for:
1. The immediate release of Lou and all Irish participants detained
2. Government accountability for refusing to sanction Israel
3. Safety and protection for citizens engaged in peaceful humanitarian action

Lou, we’re with you. Your Limerick family is raising our voices until you’re home safely 🙏.

The fight for equality isn’t over. Rights are still being challenged, and too many in our community still face hate simply for being who they are.

At Limerick Pride, we believe everyone deserves to live openly, safely, and with pride. Today and every day, we commit to listening, learning, and showing up for our community.
