That's a wrap on our Family Fun Day 2026.
What a day!
Weather wise, it was a mixed bag, but the support we received from the people of the parish was just unbelievable 👏. Thank you all so very very much ❤️

Past pupils Keely Wrenn and Clara Roche helped with running our stands. Amy Finnegan donated the most beautiful homemade brownies.
Moms Róisín Doody and Nora Duggan ran the face painting. Dads John Jelly, Joe McAuliffe, Tom Callinan and Dermot ODonnell ran the barbecue and helped set up and clean up.
The legend that is Mary Murphy was on hand yet again helping out with everything.

We were delighted to welcome councillors Liam Galvin and Frances Foley and John Moran - Mayor of Limerick Candidate as well as Fr. Tom Mangan and Fr. Willie Russell.

Members of Abbeyfeale Fire Service came along again this year and, as always, were hugely popular with everyone.

A huge shout out to camogie coaches Olive Sheehan and Celina Hannon as well as the principal of the school, Ann Marie Leonard for allowing both the children and the fire service to soak them 😂. It really added an extra bit of craic to the day.

To all of our stall holders - thank you for braving the weather and joining us. We hope you enjoyed it.
Shannon Ices, as always, hugely popular. Thanks for coming along.

It really was a great day, despite the weather. Great because the community got together and supported it. Great because parents and students helped out in organising it. And great because, as best we could tell, people of all ages enjoyed it.

Hoping for a nice dry day tomorrow for our annual Family Fun Day 🙏🤞
Please join us for a day of fun and food with friends and neighbours at the national school in Templeglantine.
All money raised will go to the national school.
2 - 5pm. Looking forward to seeing you there

The team in Dooley's SuperValu , Newcastle West have done it again 🤯.
We just can't believe their generosity.
They have informed us that, yet again, they will sponsor the burgers for our barbecue at the Family Fun Day this coming Sunday.
A huge huge thank you to Eddie and all the team. What amazing community spirit 🙌

So come along everyone and join us on Sunday. The burgers will be out of this world.

We're delighted to announce that KICAS Solutions will also be joining our craft market on Sunday.
KICAS Solutions makes items by 3D printing. We can't wait to see what they bring along.

Another stall holder has come on board for our Fun Day on Sunday.
The lovely Dave Fletcher is coming along to sell some of his wares. Dave is always good for a bargain, so we're looking forward to seeing what he'll have for sale on the day.

Here in Templeglantine NS we are so blessed with brilliant support from parents and amazing local businesses.
Sometimes parents from the school are behind those businesses.
Parents like Celina Hannon and Joe McAuliffe.
Joe is the main man in Joe McAuliffe Windows and Doors .
We just received word that they have very generously decided to sponsor a marquee for our Family Fun Day this coming Sunday 🤩.
To say we're thrilled is an understatement. Thank you both so very much 🙏

So, come along everyone and join us for what will hopefully be a thoroughly enjoyable day. Now, even if it rains, we're covered 😀

With our Family Fun Day only days away, we're all putting our shoulders to the wheel to get things ready.
The barbecue is ready to go, ice cream van is en route, our crafters are crafting and our helpers are raring to go 😀.

On top of that, the amazing team at Feale Security have been in touch to say that they will be making a donation AGAIN this year. We are so so grateful. It will help us to deliver a great experience for all of our attendees.

The support of local businesses is truly appreciated.

Dermot is always very supportive of our fundraising and the fabulous Noreen is always available to give a hand when needed.
