🎶 What a weekend in Mountcollins! 🎶
A huge thank you to everyone who came along and supported our Music Weekend. Whether you were dancing in front of the stage, tapping your toes from the sidelines, or simply enjoying the great atmosphere, you helped make it a weekend to remember.
A massive thank you to HOT FUSS, THE STARS, and DJ Ger Roche for keeping the music flowing and the dance floor alive. We hope there aren't too many sore feet this morning... although we'll take that as proof you had a good time! 💃🕺🎸
A very special word of thanks goes to Diarmuid McCarthy, who led this project with dedication, patience, and more than a few cups of tea. Behind every successful event is a team of incredible volunteers, and ours were second to none. From preparing the venue, setting everything up, welcoming everyone, cleaning up afterwards, and quietly taking care of the hundreds of little jobs nobody notices, your hard work made the weekend possible.
Events like this don't just happen—they happen because a community comes together. Thank you to every volunteer, every supporter, and everyone who helped create another wonderful chapter in Mountcollins' story. We hope you made great memories... and if you can't remember all of them, we'll assume you were enjoying the music just a little too much! 😉🎶

🌦️ Rain? What rain? We've got it covered! 🎶☔
The countdown is on for Mountcollins Music Festival tomorrow, and as you can see, our amazing volunteers have been hard at work making sure the show goes on—whatever the Irish weather decides to throw at us! 🌧️🎪 If the heavens open, don't worry... we've got you covered (literally!). So leave the umbrellas at home, bring your dancing shoes instead, and join us for a fantastic day of music, fun, great company and plenty of community spirit. After all, if we waited for perfect weather in Ireland, we'd never have a festival! 😂🎸🎵

Best of all... entry is FREE! 🎉 Bring your friends, bring your neighbours, and if they're still sitting on the fence, bring the fence too! 😄 We can't wait to see you in Mountcollins for an afternoon and evening full of music, laughter, and community spirit. ❤️🎵

It is fantastic to see the residents of Radharc na Gleanna taking pride in their estate, from sourcing the paint to seeing the job through to completion ,fantastic work by all involved.
Also our bottle bank has gotten a good cleanup, thank you so much to the person that took on this project
People taking the iniative to improve our village little by little is fantastic to see. If you see a little corner of our village that needs attention feel free to give me a shout..thank you everyone fir your support

It's very disappointing to see damage like this being done to a tree in our village.
The bark has been stripped from approximately three feet of this tree in Radharc na Gleanna. Deliberately damaging trees is unacceptable, regardless of a person's age.
Our village is something we all share and take pride in. Please treat our trees and public spaces with the respect they deserve.
