This page has been set up to facilitate the interaction between Muslim students, staff, alumni, affiliates at the University of Limerick. Help out brother Hashem from Palestine to reach UL!!!


He is seeking financial support for his education at UL. Any help from us will make a difference InShaAllah.

Hashem has been accepted at University of Limerick, for Bachelor of Science in Biological & Chemical Sciences (4 year program). He is committed to continuing on the path to Medicine, even if that means completing a bachelor’s first and then applying to 4 year MD programs. Classes at Limerick start in September 2026.
To secure a visa in Ireland, Hashem will need to show the ability to financially cover immediate needs in Year 1 and demonstrate ready access to funds to cover subsequent year costs.

Please support Hashem as much as possible and share his information within your communities.

From long fasting days to shared ifṭārs, from quiet duʿā’ to laughter, games, and celebrationthis is what Eid on campus looks like 🤍

For many of us, Ramadan meant balancing lectures, deadlines, and homesickness… but also building something beautiful together. From food tables to henna, from conversations to games that brought everyone together every moment reminded us of the strength of our community.

Eid wasn’t just a celebration—it was connection, joy, and belonging.

We’re excited to announce that we are now looking for new committee members for the next academic year (2026-27) InShaAllah. 🎉

If you are interested in helping organise events, want to know what it’s like to run a society or even want a chance to help grow the Muslim community around limerick and Ireland, then please join our committee.
