It does this by providing quality experiences through activities led by Sing Ireland and by supporting the work of our members and the wider choral sector.

🎉TwinkleTown Registration Reminder🎉

We have had such a great response to our partnership with Twinkletown so far, and there are only a few slots remaining! Currently we have a few mid weeks slots available, and we're especially looking for groups for after the 19th December, who would like to bring the festive magic right up to Christmas!

TwinkleTown is a Christmas festival experience bringing entertainment, culture, food, music and seasonal celebration to the heart of Dublin City. Produced by Archetype in partnership with Dublin City Council, TwinkleTown brings families, friends, communities and visitors together to experience Christmas in the city, while showcasing Irish creativity, makers and performers.

We are delighted to be bringing National Singing Week back from the 8th-14th February 2027! 🎊

As one of our favourite weeks of the year, we can't wait to see all the events our member choirs and singing groups will have taking place next year.

We’re delighted to have received support from The Arts Council / An Chomhairle Ealaíon for Star Songs through the Arts in Early Learning and Childcare Scheme 2026! 🌟

Over the coming months, Star Songs will bring singing, music-making and creative play to early learning and childcare settings across Galway, Kildare, Limerick and Tipperary.

Working with professional musicians and early years educators, the programme gives children opportunities to explore their voices, build confidence, connect with others and create music together. We’re particularly excited to develop new songs and resources in collaboration with the children and settings taking part.

We’re so grateful for the support of the Arts Council and excited to see where Star Songs takes us over the coming months! 🎶

🎉Impact Data 2025🎉

After the delivery of our Annual Report, we wanted to share some of our proudest statistics!

275,206 singers across the country, along with musicians and volunteers all help make Sing Ireland what it is, and support us to continue doing the work that makes such a difference to the singing community in Ireland and beyond 🌍

We are forever grateful to all the people we work with, and we are so proud of the work we deliver through our membership, programmes, and courses.

We still have plenty of exciting things planned for the remained of 2026, and even more plans in the works for 2027. Keep your eyes out and be part of our impact for the years to come! 🎉

🎉Reminder for Choral Coordinator opportunity with Fingal Arts Office 🎉

Applications closing 12th October!

Fingal County Council Arts Office, in partnership with Sing Ireland, invites applications from experienced professional choral directors to undertake the role of Choral Coordinator for Fingal Voices, a major community choral project taking place from Autumn 2026 to Autumn 2027 in Fingal, Co. Dublin.

We are seeking a choral director with a strong track record in community choral practice and event organisation. The successful applicant will work closely with commissioned composer Seán Doherty, participating choirs across Fingal, and the project partners to develop and realise an ambitious new site-responsive choral work that will premiere in Culture House, Swords as part of its opening programme in Autumn 2027.

✨ Celebrating inclusion and belonging with the Irish Youth Choir ✨

We are delighted to have received funding from the Department for Children, Disability and Equality for our Glór Bródúil IYC Young Composers initiative, celebrating LGBTIQ+ identities in the IYC and singing communities in Ireland.

This summer, we were delighted to have the wonderful Seán Doherty join us for a gorgeous workshop celebrating the welcoming and inclusive spaces of the Irish Youth Choirs. Seán is now working with two Young Composers from the IYC18-25 on a commission celebrating these themes, which will be performed next year.

Thank you to the Department for supporting this wonderful project, we can't wait to hear and perform our new compositions!
