📣Membership FAQ - Communications📣

As September rolls around again, we have many of our member choirs getting in contact about their membership renewals! Over the rest of the week, we will be sharing all the need to knows! 👇

Earlier this year, we launched our Regional Network Online Discussion Boards. You will have already received access to your dedicated Padlet! Here, you can publicise upcoming events, or ask any questions, and you will have the opportunity to receive answers from people in your locality, or from someone on the Sing Ireland team. If you need updated access, please contact Rachel at [email protected], with your choir name and county.

We always welcome member choir to tag us in their social media posts, so we can reshare any concert posters or videos!

We encourage choirs to set up a dedicated email address for all choir communications, rather than using personal emails from choir members or directors. This helps with access to information from us, like our newsletter, website log in and for continuity as committee members change.

If you ever want to change how we contact you, or update any of your choirs information, please reach out to us via email at [email protected] so we can stay up to date.

As September rolls around again, we have many of our member choirs getting in contact about their membership renewals! Over the rest of the week, we will be sharing all the need to knows! 👇

Did you know you can publish an ad for your upcoming concerts, open rehearsals, auditions or vacancies on our News page on our website? 🎉

In order to access this, you will need to have your Member Log In activated! When you pay your membership fee online, the email address used to process the payment gets added to our membership access list, and many of you will have received an email inviting you to create your password already! This is a new feature from this year, and this is the best time of the year to get your log in activated so you can access all our Membership Benefits throughout the next season. 🍂⛄🌱🌞

🎉Workshop Announcement🎉

We are running a training workshop on the 12th September in IMMA with the wonderful Suzzie Vango! 🎶

She will be focusing on her work with people of all ages with both neurodivergent needs and physical needs in the UK. Through the workshop, she will work through warm ups, movement and body percussion and repertoire ideas. We are also delighted to partner with IMMA as our host for the day!

As part of our Membership Benefits, our member choirs can avail of a discounted insurance premium with our good friends at Campion Insurance!

If you would like to renew your membership fees, update your information, or join us for the first time, this can all be done at the link below!

If you are a new choir, this will give us all the necessary information we need, and if you are renewing, it give you the chance to update any information that may now be out of date. 📝

As we all return to our regular schedules after such a busy summer, we want to wish the very best of luck to all our young singers who are receiving their Leaving Certificate results this morning! 📖

🌍Musicians Without Boarders visit Sing Ireland - Get Involved! 🌍

We are so grateful to Otto and Laura from Musicians Without Boarders for joining us during this year's International Choral Conducting Summer School here in The Irish World Academy of Music and Dance.

We have had several workshops delivered during the course, and this workshops marks the beginning of a new training collaboration between Musicians Without Boarders and Sing Ireland. Our participants thoroughly enjoyed the presentation, and were inspired by his words and the organisation's incredible international work.
