Blood Bike Mid West Blood Bike Mid West Ireland is a charitable organisation that provides FREE transport to the HSE, private hospitals, clinics & hospices.

We operate an out of hours service using volunteer riders to save money. This can then be put back into primary care.

Covering any calls that came in, including the transport of a monitor from a private address in Co Tipperary to the University Hospital Limerick for analysis. A link up with Blood Bikes East for the transport of a medical package to a private address in Co Clare. Well done.

Thank you to Doolin Motorcycle Fest, for your generous donation. Every single euro goes into the charity to provide a voluntary medical transport service to the people of the Mid West and surrounding areas. Thanks to the committee and organisers, and to everyone who signed up and donated over the weekend. It was a great event. Looking forward to next year.

Frank and Richard carried their shifts forward into the weekend. Frank transporting samples from our local hospitals to the University Hospital Limerick. Richard transported donor breast milk to Athlone and on return delivered a consignment of breast milk to the Neonatal unit of the University Maternity Hospital Limerick. Well done.

Our weekly report. Declan, Frank and Richard were on duty during the week. For Declan it was the transport of a monitor from the children's ward of the University Hospital Limerick to a private address in Co Tipperary. Frank had a late link up with Blood Bikes East in Portlaoise, transporting a medical package from Dublin to Limerick. Richard transported a medical package from Limerick to a private address in Co kerry. Well done everyone.
