Blood Bike Mid West Ireland is a charitable organisation that provides FREE transport to the HSE, private hospitals, clinics & hospices.

We operate an out of hours service using volunteer riders to save money. This can then be put back into primary care.

Thanks to all our volunteers who were on duty this week. Brian was on duty transporting samples to the University Hospital Limerick. Today Richard had a linkup with Blood Bike South for the transport of donor breast milk from Cork to Athlone. On his return he delivered a consignment of donor milk to the Neonatal unit of the University Maternity Hospital Limerick. Well done all.

Our volunteers who were on duty this weekend, William and Mark worked together to transport a medical package from a private address on the Limerick/kerry border to link up with Blood Bikes East for onward transport to Dublin. Gerry looked after our local hospitals, while John transported donor breast milk to the Neonatal unit of the University Maternity Hospital Limerick. Thanks to everyone.

This week we had a multitude of calls responded to by our volunteers, Declan, Richard, Hugh Trix and Anthony. Transporting samples from County Kerry and Co Clare to Dublin. Delivering and collecting a monitor to and from a private address in Co Limerick. Transporting a medical package from UHL to Dublin. Thanks to our volunteers and to our fellow Blood Bike groups for the link ups.

Our volunteers on duty this week. William and Guillaume looked after the transport of samples to the University Hospital Limerick. Richard and Deirdre are on duty this weekend, working together to transport donor breast milk from Tralee to Limerick then onward to Athlone for transport to the Human Milk Bank in Enniskillen. Richard will also be transporting donor milk to the Neonatal unit of the University Maternity Hospital Limerick. Well done everyone.

On duty this week, Hugh had a link up with Blood Bike South, with a medical CD for transport to Cork.
Frank was on a link up with Blood Bikes East with a medical package from Dublin to a private address in Co Limerick. This weekend, Gerry was on duty looking after our local hospitals. Today Richard transported donor breast milk from Limerick to Athlone. On his return he delivered a consignment of donor milk to the Neonatal unit of the University Maternity Hospital Limerick. A busy couple of weeks for our volunteers. Thanks to Declan, Richard Egan, Richard O'Connell, Ray, Lisa and Brian for responding to multiple calls. Including the collection and delivery of donor breast milk. Urgent link ups with our fellow Blood Bike groups. And the transport of urgent medical packages from Dublin to Tralee, and Cork to Limerick. Well done everyone.

Trix Declan and Deirdre looked after our duties. This week we had multiple runs from Tralee to Dublin. Our volunteers working together to provide a voluntary medical transport service to the people of the Mid West and surrounding areas. Well done everyone.
