🤝 Blood Bikes Visits Google HQ in Dublin! 💚💛

Today, representatives from Blood Bikes had the opportunity to attend a Frontline Engagement afternoon at Google HQ in Dublin.

The event provided an opportunity to meet with other organisations, engage in a relaxed meet-and-greet environment, and take part in valuable soft skills engagement.

As a volunteer-led charity providing a 24/7/365 medical transport service, we are always grateful for opportunities to connect with other organisations, share experiences, and build relationships that can help strengthen the work we do.

A big thank you to Google for the invitation and for hosting the event. It was great to be included and to have the opportunity to represent Blood Bikes. 💚💛

Well done to our volunteers on duty this holiday weekend. Declan covered 2 shifts transporting samples from our local hospitals to the University Hospital Limerick. Barbara looked after the transportation of donor milk to the Neonatal unit of the University Maternity Hospital Limerick. Trix and Richard worked together transporting a medical package from a private address in County Kerry to Limerick, for onward transport to Dublin.

When we say we are delivering human donor milk it' much more than that, they are feeding tiny prem babies that keep them alive it's what we do.

🍼 3,960 MEALS. JUST LET THAT SINK IN. ❤️

In September, Greater Manchester Blood Bikes transported 99 litres of donor breast milk.

That’s approximately 3,960 meals for premature babies. Tiny humans. Tiny tummies. A massive difference.

Sometimes the most important deliveries are for the smallest people.❤️
