€30.85c from this empty of the re-turn bin. A big thank you to everyone who pops their cans and bottles into the bin. It all adds up and helps maintain our centre for the community to enjoy.

Many thanks to the 10 volunteers who came out this week to help, it’s great to see the community getting behind this initiative to keep Killargue looking beautiful for everyone who lives in it, visits and passes by. Well done to all 👏 A big thank you to Leitrim County Council for the clean up equipment.

We will be back out tomorrow from 10-11am if anyone is about and can lend a hand. Next weekend sees the blessings of the graves, with some people travelling to the area, let’s all help to showcase Killargue for the beautiful it is.

A big thank you to the volunteers who came out today at short notice to help tidy the village, strimming was done, a start was made to clear the wall opposite the village, moss scrapped from the church car park. At lot done but plenty more to do. 6 people did all of this, we will meet every Saturday 10-11am. If you can give just one hour of your time, we can have our village looking fabulous. If you can’t make a Saturday, get out when you can and we can collect the green waste. We can all do our bit for our village.
