Do you run your own small business from home?
Have you ever dreamed of turning a hobby into a business?
Do you have a business idea you would like to take to the next level but don’t know where to start?

Then join us on Tuesday June 23rd at 10.30am in The Hive, Carrick on Shannon for a Gathering to Support Women in Small Business in Leitrim.

An empowering event designed especially for women running small & micro businesses - including the ones operating from the spare room or the kitchen table! An opportunity to meet other women, get support, be inspired and create meaningful local connections.

This is the second event in this series after a very successful event held in the North of the county last month. These events will not only help you find it what supports already exist and are available but will help us identify what supports are needed for women. They are also and anpoortunity to meet and connect with other women running small and micro businesses in the area.

We had a lovely morning in The Organic Centre in Rossinver to end our on-line programme 'Growing Your Own Food, Flowers & Wellbeing' with Joanne from OURganic Gardens last week. Such a beautiful, restful and peaceful place right on our door step 🌿🎋🌹

Women Weaving Cross Border Connections 💕

We had a fabulous 2 days in the Hillgrove Hotel last week with an amazing bunch of talented, passionate, creative and inspiring women from across Leitrim, South Armagh & Mid Ulster as part of our PEACEPLUS Funded project supported by Leitrim County Council & SEUPB - 'The Hidden Half - Leitrim Women in Focus'. The 2 day residential saw nearly 40 women come together in person after working and connecting together via zoom for the last 6 weeks.

We connected, built friendships, shared experiences, learned about each others communities and discussed the topics and issues that matter most to women across the Island of Ireland North & South.

Thank you to all the women that took part for your honesty, passion, openness and generosity in sharing, listening and engaging with each other. We shared food, laughs, stories, and experiences, we talked together, supported each other, created together and even joined voices in song together. It was a privilege to share time with all of you, lasting friendships were made and we look forward to coming together again.
