Inniskeen Tidy Towns Tidy Towns Inniskeen Tidy Towns was reestablished in 1984 by a small but dedicated number of people.

The committee has grown from strength to strength and have won awards in the process. National awards won in the past where; Best wheel chair access award and Mc Nello's won best shop front award.

HSE Connecting for Life Cavan Monaghan in partnership with Cavan Monaghan Connects, Mental Health Ireland, Monaghan CYPSC and Cavan Monaghan ETB with the support of Monaghan PPN is seeking to identify volunteers who live or work in the area and want to make a positive difference to the health and wellbeing of people in their community.

This initiative seeks to develop a Network of ‘Community Connectors’ – representatives of local community/voluntary groups who are passionate about supporting mental health and wellbeing in the community. Volunteers will be trusted, active members of their community.

Many thanks to the volunteers who helped w**d and plant up the village the past two nights. It’s great to see some colour back in the village. Just a few more pots to finish planting over the weekend. Many thanks to our sponsors who pay for the plants each year. Hope you like the colours 😊

Many thanks to the Inniskeen/Kilanny Scouts for cleaning up a lot of the approach roads this evening, along with their leaders and Tidy Town volunteers. There are still plenty of roads in the village that need to be cleared of rubbish. If anyone has time, we would really appreciate the help to clear the hedgerows. We can provide bags.
