Tonight, we asked one simple question: What does “home” mean to you?

This canvas shows that home isn’t just a house - it’s people, places, memories, songs, and little moments that make us feel safe and like we belong.

For many of us, that feeling is something we’ve never had to think twice about. But for millions of people around the world, home is something they’ve had to leave behind. They’ve been forced to leave the people and places that made them feel safe, often with little warning and through no fault of their own.

That’s why tonight’s Paint & Sip was in aid of - an amazing charity that supports people seeking asylum in Ireland, helping them find safety, community, and belonging.

Thank you to everyone who came, painted, donated, and showed solidarity this Refugee Week 💜
Everyone deserves a place to call home.

Come join us in the Friary for a quiz with the chance to win some amazing prizes!! All donations help a UCC alumnus’ family, who are in danger in
Afghanistan, reach safety. The family ran educational
classes for poor young girls, and their home served as a
refuge for women experiencing domestic violence. Now,
their lives are threatened by the Taliban and the
husbands of the women they supported.
Please give what you can to help bring this family to
safety.
