Last Saturday we came together to celebrate 20 years of Gorey Easyspeakers.

We celebrated by holding a night of story telling in the Ashdown Park in Gorey. We would like to thank everyone who attended. We had our current members, past members and those who travelled from around the country to be with us and celebrate.

We would like to thank Ed Whelan our President, Ita Finnerty and Alan Smyth who worked extremely hard on the celebrations.

We also would like to thank the following speakers:
- Alan Smyth - Gorey Easyspeakers, ‘It’s What You Hear’
- Aidan O’Connor - Wicklow Toastmasters, ‘Wake Up and Dream’
- Helen Sexton - Enniscorthy Toastmasters, ‘Mná Abu!’
- Oleksandra Sira - Gorey Easyspeakers, ‘Only in Books’
- Ita Finnerty - Gorey Easyspeakers - ‘From Then to Now’
- Mario Carerra - Tinahely Toastmasters, ‘Against the Wind’
- Ashleigh Tobin - Wicklow Toastmasters, ‘The First Sign of Madness’
- Aisling O’ Halloran - Carlow Toastmasters, ‘The Mother of all Realisations’
- Tom Murphy - Gorey Easyspeakers, ‘Granny Ding Dong’

A presentation was made on the night to Olivia Copeland who has been in Toastmasters since its beginning in Gorey since 2006. Olivia thank you for all your help and support!

We also want to thank our Chartered Members and Past Club Presidents who came to the event. It was very much appreciated!
