SLIS are conducting an evaluation for the ISL Social Inclusion Voucher Scheme 2023-2026.

Method Consultants are carrying out the evaluation, and the lead researcher is Paul Ginnell. We want Paul to evaluate the Voucher Scheme to assess the scheme’s value in the Deaf community and to identify any changes needed to improve the scheme in the future.

In order to improve the scheme, we ask you to submit your views of the scheme from October 2023 to December 2025.

You can do this to take part in the evaluation survey…..in either of the following ways:

- Complete the online survey here. The survey should take no longer than 10 minutes.

- If you wish, to send in an ISL video, please email your video to [email protected]

- The website also has a section - and ISL video – explaining how to submit an ISL Video.

- If you wish, to complete the survey over zoom using ISL – just please email Paul. His contact details are: [email protected]

Your views and opinions are important – it doesn’t matter if you have used the voucher scheme or not, we still want you to submit to our survey.

All submitted information is treated in full confidentiality.

Thanks for all the support to date, and we hope to learn from the evaluation on how best to continue – and hopefully improve the ISL voucher scheme.

The aim is to collect and assess the scheme’s value in the Deaf community and to identify any changes needed to improve the scheme going forward.

Just a quick introduction to our new administrator for SLIS, Emily Matassa.

Emily will be focusing on promoting SLIS services and gathering feedback from the Deaf community to help us continue improving our support and engagement. She works part-time with the team.
