Itโ€™s Invisible Disabilities Week (19โ€“25 October)! ๐ŸŒป๐Ÿ’›

Itโ€™s estimated that around 80% of disabilities are non-visible. These can include neurological, cognitive, sensory, mental health and chronic conditions that arenโ€™t always immediately apparent.

Not all disabilities are visible, but a little understanding and kindness can go a long way in helping everyone feel seen, understood and supported.

The Hidden Disabilities Sunflower helps people with non-visible disabilities discreetly indicate that they may need additional support, understanding or patience. ๐ŸŒป

Cara House Family Resource Centre, in collaboration with Letterkenny Educate Together N.S is delighted to launch Neuro Connect Letterkenny a new initiative supporting parents of neurodivergent children.

This welcoming space will offer:

- Professional guidance
- Practical strategies
- Peer connection with other families
